The DİYANET NAMAZ VAKTİM application has been updated to comply with the new features introduced by the Android 12 operating system. The Android 12 update is currently being rolled out and tested on various devices. Therefore, if you encounter issues while downloading the application, we recommend seeking information through reliable sources.
For installation videos related to "NAMAZ VAKTİM" on ANDROID 11, you can visit the official YouTube channel of the T.C. DİYANET İŞLERİ BAŞKANLIĞI BİLGİ İŞLEM DAİRE BAŞKANLIĞI to learn about how to configure necessary permission settings.
The application titled “Namaz Vakti," developed by a specific company using outdated technology, faced numerous complaints and criticisms. Unfortunately, there hadn't been any updates for nearly two years, as the company did not provide the necessary key store and passwords for us to create updates. Users who previously installed this application found it increasingly non-functional over time due to its outdated technology with each IOS and Android update. It is important to note that our organization has not supported this application in any way since it was removed from publication around two years ago.
A new mobile application titled “Namaz Vaktim” has been redeveloped by our staff specifically for prayer times and has been available for two years, featuring many new functionalities.
We suggest that after uninstalling the outdated "Namaz Vakti" app from your phone, you clear the application history before installing our updated one.
The new NAMAZ VAKTİM application offers:
- The ability to detect the nearest prayer times based on your location, even when the application is closed or not in use, gathering location data to ensure notifications, alarms, and widget functionality work accurately. Thus, allowing the app to operate in the background is essential.
- Assurance that battery optimization does not restrict functioning and that you have granted location permissions to the app.
- Automatic detection of the nearest central location to provide prayer times on the home screen.
- A background that facilitates easy recognition of prayer times.
- Easy access to turn alarms on/off.
- Timely reminder feature for alarms.
- An option to receive reminders up to 1 hour in advance of alarms.
- The ability to select desired alarm sounds.
- A monthly prayer timetable list.
- Support for the Islamic calendar.
- An advanced Qibla compass.
- The capability to add unlimited locations.
- Easy switching between different locations.
- Quick access to the current Religious Days calendar (yearly selection available).
- Feedback, requests, and suggestions can be submitted directly within the application.
If you experience any problems related to the application, please document them clearly with relevant screenshots, including details of your device brand, model, and version information. This information will assist us in understanding and addressing the issues effectively.
【Namaz Vaktim Cyber Prayer Guide: Fantasy Drift】
When I got lost at Istanbul Airport, my phone suddenly vibrated and a "maghra countdown" popped up, and the location automatically jumped to the direction of the nearest prayer room - this is not a prayer app, it is clearly an electronic Sufi mentor. Since downloading the new version of "Namaz Vaktim", my phone has become a cyber Tasbiha: last week, I turned on the Qibla compass on the top of the Dubai Tower, and the needle was frantically drawing concentric circles of Mecca at an altitude of 340 meters, scaring the security guard into thinking I was carrying an Islamic version of Doraemon's treasure hunting device.
■ Positioning metaphysics: Allah's GPS signal
• Cross-time zone rampage: On the way from Jakarta to Cairo, the reminder for Maghrib vibrated once every hour, and the flight attendant mistook me for the mobile prayer alarm provider
• Basement miracle: The "Morning Prayer" notification in the subway tunnel sounded on time, the location service penetrated three layers of concrete to capture Medina radio waves, and the professor of the School of Engineering applied to be listed as an unsolved mystery
• Social death scene: Forget to turn off the "one-hour advance reminder" function, the company's morning meeting was filled with the chanting of the call to prayer, and the German director made the sign of the cross at the same time, triggering a famous scene of harmony among multiple religions
■ Battery optimization's sacred confrontation
After turning on the "unlimited battery life" mode, Huawei P40 turned into a Zakat calculator - the battery power during prayer time is always 99%, and the remaining 1% is so strong that Apple users collectively convert; I accidentally disabled battery optimization on a certain occasion, and the phone spontaneously chanted chapters of the Quran in the high temperature on the day of Jumu'an, and the heat dissipation holes emitted cyber smoke with the fragrance of frankincense.
■ Calendar black hole: timeline confusion
• Set the "Islamic calendar" to synchronize birthdays, and as a result, receive quantum blessings of "age + 1" in different months of the Gregorian calendar every year
• "Religious festival reminder" pushes Eid al-Adha three days in advance, and the rush to buy lamb legs in supermarkets caused panic stockpiling by non-Muslim customers
• The clumsy hand adds twelve time zones, and the screen calendar turns into a "Tenet"-style red and blue spiral. Mecca time and local time are quantum entangled on the lock screen interface
■ User feedback dimensional tragicomedy
• Use the "Advanced Feedback" function to complain about the old version crash, and the customer service reply comes with the code of Chapter 67, Section 3 of the Quran. After cracking, it turns out to be a programmer's apology poem
• Samsung S22U user uploads a "compass reversal" video, and the comment area turns into an electromagnetic physics seminar
• Grandma accidentally touches "Unlimited location addition", and the coordinates of the cities where grandchildren study abroad around the world appear on the Mecca navigation route map, and the family group starts the "Electronic Hajj" relay race
Nowadays, mobile phones have become portable virtual mosques, with 256G memory filled with call to prayer recordings in different time zones. Although I was asked to go to the security room for turning on the "maximum volume reminder" at Tokyo Skytree, I must admit that when the "night prayer" notification flashed at the same frequency as the green light under the aurora, my materialistic roommate also began to silently recite the Islamic creed. (Back up the coordinates of the faulty Mecca in the 99th version, waiting for the holographic projection prayer room DLC to be launched)
