Instagram offers the same 14 font choices for both Reels and Stories. The process begins with uploading the media you intend to share.
When creating a Story, simply tap any spot on the screen to generate a text layer and start typing. In the case of creating a post or a Reel, you should select the text layer icon, which is depicted by the "Aa" symbol, in order to add your text.
The font choices for your newly created text layer are displayed above the keyboard.
You'll find a total of 14 distinct options, with each one illustrated by a word rendered in the respective font style. To see how each font will look with your text, simply scroll horizontally through the selection.
How to Get New Fonts on Instagram
Instagram has introduced six brand - new fonts. Meta initially made these fonts available to a group of Instagram beta testers before rolling them out to the general public in late 2024. They first appeared on Stories and are now accessible on Reels as well. In addition to the new fonts, six effects and animations have also been added.
