What New:

1. New Retweet feature: Person A can repost Person B's post, and Person B's post will appear in the feeds of anyone following Person A. The algorithm takes this repost into account when determining what followers will see. There's a difference between reposting and sharing. Sharing is when a person sends a post to other people, a group chat, or even their Instagram Story. Therefore, it sends it to a specific group of people.

If you want to protect your privacy and not be spied on by others, you can go to your Instagram settings, scroll down, tap the button in the Show Friends tab, and then set it to No One.

The Instagram map is essentially a real-time map showing the location of all your friends (friends here refers to people who follow each other). If you don't like this feature, you can go into your phone's settings and turn off location services, or at least turn off Instagram's precise location.

Next, go to your Instagram settings. Scroll down to the button that says "Stories Live & Location" and tap Instagram Map. When you first tap the Instagram Map, a small pop-up window will appear, providing you with some additional details about what the map is and how to use it. Then, when you tap Next, a settings page will appear. You'll be given four different options for how to share your location on the map. You can share your location with "With Your Friends," which again describes anyone you follow and anyone who follows you.You can share your location with your close friends and choose to add them to your close friends list. You can also choose not to share your location with anyone.
