There are three tests focused on color (purity, gradients, and shades) as well as two for touch functionality (single and multi-touch). The Display info button reveals a page detailing the screen's resolution, pixel density, aspect ratio, and current brightness.
Depending on the model of your device, these tests can assist in determining whether eye comfort mode should be activated to reduce eye strain, if the brightness needs adjustment, or if the touch sensitivity is functioning effectively across the entire screen.
Each color test and information requires a single tap to access each page. You can exit any ongoing test at any time by double-tapping anywhere on the screen.
The Single-touch test concludes when the entire screen is covered with blue rectangles, including the area occupied by the upper text message. If the touchscreen is operating correctly, the Multi-touch test checks if multiple fingers (up to ten) can be used at once to perform multi-finger gestures within your apps.
Finally, two animation tests display the frame rate of your screen (in Frames Per Second) while a cube or several rectangles traverse across the display.

ScreenCheX: A Seamless Display & Touch Diagnostic Tool
From the moment I launched ScreenCheX, I was impressed by how effortlessly it guided me through its comprehensive suite of color and touch assessments—whether I was evaluating purity gradients or verifying multi‑touch responsiveness, each test was intuitive and required just a single tap to access. The Display Info page provided clear, detailed insights into my screen’s resolution, pixel density, aspect ratio, and brightness, empowering me to fine‑tune settings like eye‑comfort mode and backlight intensity with confidence.
I found the single‑touch and multi‑touch exams particularly reassuring, as they quickly confirmed full‑screen coverage and reliable gesture recognition up to ten fingers. The animation tests, displaying real‑time frame‑rate readouts while a cube and cascading rectangles traversed the display, were both informative and visually engaging. Best of all, ScreenCheX achieves all of this without any ads, permissions, or hidden costs—making it my go‑to app for ensuring my device’s touchscreen and display operate at peak performance!
