Taichung Go Hourly QR Tickets Collaborate with Taiwan PASS for Taiwan-Wide Travel

--The incredibly popular "Taichung Go" app has expanded beyond Taichung! The "Taichung Go" hourly QR ticket offers guaranteed travel on buses and the MRT citywide within its validity period. Exclusive packages for special festivals and events have also been highly praised. The city's Department of Transportation has developed modular functionality and partnered with Taiwan PASS for the first time. Using the Taiwan PASS app, customers can use the "Taichung Go" hourly QR ticket, offering convenient and economical travel experiences across Taiwan with one ticket.

--Taichung City Transportation Bureau Director Ye Zhaofu expressed his special gratitude to the Tourism Administration of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications for its support in enabling the collaboration between "Taichung Go" and Taiwan PASS. Effective immediately, "Taichung Go" is now officially part of the Taiwan PASS product line: the "Taiwan PASS High Speed Rail Classic Edition," the "Taiwan PASS Taiwan Railway Classic Edition," and the "Taiwan PASS Highlights Easy Go Edition." The Taiwan PASS integrates transportation and tourism resources, including high-speed rail, Taiwan Railways, buses, MRT, and attraction tickets. Furthermore, the "Taichung Go" program collaborates with various events and tourist resources to vigorously promote transportation services and provide a user-friendly travel network.

--The Bureau of Transportation stated that the Taichung Go Hourly QR Code Ticket combined with the Taiwan PASS creates a new model for all-Taiwan travel, offering convenient transportation connections and excellent value. The "High Speed Rail Classic Edition" for international travelers is NT$2,500, while the "Taiwan Railway Classic Edition" for domestic and international travelers is NT$3,200. The "Taiwan PASS Highlights Easy Go Edition" is NT$2,500 and connects to famous attractions. It can be used flexibly within 7 days to adjust your itinerary, providing travelers with more flexible local transportation options, allowing them to easily explore Taiwan's 100 highlights and making it the perfect choice for exploring Taichung.

--Director Ye further explained that "Taichung Go" continues to integrate tourism resources such as food, accommodation, travel, and shopping. This cross-sector and regional reach extends beyond Taichung. "Taichung Go" has developed a modular system design that seamlessly integrates with other tourism service platforms, encouraging the public to use public transportation and reduce the use of private vehicles. Interested businesses are also welcome to discuss collaboration with "Taichung Go," marking a new milestone in the transformation of urban public transportation and digital transportation management, and initiating a new milestone in transportation mobility services.

The frustration with the app feels overwhelming. It requires GPS to access bus information. Other apps manage without this restriction. The constant lag adds to the annoyance, making it almost unusable. On September 24, a comment from the Taichung government comes across as dismissive. The response pushes for GPS usage repeatedly, ignoring the real issue. It gets under the skin. Complaints about needing GPS echo loudly. It's unreasonable when all one wants is basic information. Standing close to a bus stop? No need for GPS. Opening the app leads to disappointment anyway. Suggestions from officials seem like hollow excuses. A single star rating captures that sentiment perfectly. On October 8, it feels like shouting into an empty void. The design lacks thoughtfulness, causing significant trouble and wasted time. There's no support or understanding from those in charge. A firm decision stands: no more using this app. That one-star rating remains, a permanent reminder of the poor experience.

It worked like a charm before, but now it's not doing anything. The latest update ruined it.

I stuck to my schedule. The bus was blocked, and I missed it. Now I'm waiting for another hour for the same bus. This is frustrating. The app crashed, and the bus just went by. I have to wait for an hour now. I need to change my plans. This app is terrible. I'm going to delete it now. I recommend using Yapin's Taichung bus instead.

Using this app for finding bus routes looks easy but can lead to trouble. Today, I had to go to Lingdong. I thought I would catch one bus. Instead, I ended up taking four different buses and it took an hour to arrive. In the end, I had to ask people for directions to reach Lingdong. The app was way off. Not only did the arrival times seem wrong, but the stop information was inaccurate too. It really needs improvement!

Imagine an app where the layout feels chaotic. Bright colors clash, and buttons blend into the background. The navigation? A maze of tiny icons that don’t make sense. Users tap blindly, hoping to find their way. When it comes to loading times, expect a slow crawl. Screens freeze or crash frequently. Users feel frustration building. Notifications pop up incessantly, interrupting any task. Each alert is an annoying surprise. A lack of clear instructions leaves users confused. Hints are vague or absent altogether. Buttons don’t respond as expected. Features are hidden, requiring endless tapping for discovery. Error messages appear with no explanation. Users face obstacles without guidance. A feedback option, if present, is buried deep within settings, almost impossible to locate. Accessibility options are nonexistent. Screen readers struggle. Users with disabilities encounter barriers everywhere. Overall, this app leaves users feeling lost, irritated, and eager to delete it.

A new section for "Latest News" would be great. This could share updates on bus routes like new stops, route changes, newly added routes, suspensions, or detours. Catching up on all the latest bus changes in one place makes it easier for everyone.

The binding feature won't work at all. It crashes constantly. I tried force closing the app and logging out, then back in again. Nothing seems to help. The crashes keep happening repeatedly.

The apps are great. They offer helpful features and are user-friendly. Occasionally, the tracking experiences a slight delay.

The app freezes right on the opening screen. It's completely useless now. The last version had its flaws, but at least it was usable. This current version doesn't work at all. It just gets stuck and won't move past that first screen.
