Ability to play in both landscape and portrait modes.

Automatic hints for potential moves.

Automatic saving of your game progress.

A variety of themes to choose from.

Engaging animations.

Comprehensive statistics.

Unlimited undo options.

You will experience the same gameplay as before.

The rules remain unchanged:

The goal of Spider Solitaire is to eliminate all cards from the ten stacks displayed at the top of the screen using the fewest moves possible.

To eliminate cards from these stacks, shift the cards between columns until you arrange a complete suit from king down to ace. Once you have a full suit lined up, those cards will be removed.

Additionally, playing on a touchscreen enhances the overall experience.

Give it a try; you're sure to enjoy it.

Tips & Tricks

1. Start with the Easy Suits

When you start a new game, focus on completing one suit first. This makes it easier to build long runs of cards and allows you to uncover more cards from the deck. Completing a suit early gives you more flexibility as the game progresses.

2. Build Cards from King to Ace

Always aim to build your columns in descending order, from King to Ace, and try to keep your columns as organized as possible. This allows you to easily move entire sequences from one column to another when needed.

3. Free Up Columns ASAP

The more empty columns you have, the easier it will be to move cards around. Try to clear columns as soon as possible to gain more room for organizing your cards. Empty columns are crucial because they give you space to place any King (which is the only card that can be placed in an empty spot).

4. Don’t Rush to Move Cards

Take your time with each move. Rushing can lead to mistakes or making moves that block future options. Think about each move and how it affects your long-term strategy. Sometimes leaving a card where it is for one more turn can help you in the long run.

5. Use the Undo Button Wisely

The undo button can be a lifesaver if you realize you made a wrong move. If you spot a better move after making a decision, don’t hesitate to use the undo feature to correct it. However, try not to overuse it, as doing so might prevent you from learning how to play strategically.

6. Organize Your Columns

Pay attention to how you arrange your cards. Try to keep your columns in a balanced way, with similar cards grouped together. This will make it easier to complete the sequences and avoid getting stuck when you need to make more moves.

7. Don’t Use the Stock Pile Too Soon

The stockpile can be a useful tool, but it should be used sparingly. Try not to draw from the stockpile until absolutely necessary. Drawing cards too soon can clutter the columns and make it harder to organize the game. Use it as a last resort when you run out of moves.

8. Move Full Sequences

If you’ve already built a sequence from King to Ace, try to move the entire sequence to another column when possible. This will free up space and help you keep the game flowing smoothly.

9. Work on Uncovering Face-Down Cards

Uncovering face-down cards is one of your top priorities. The more cards you have visible, the more options you’ll have to make moves. Work to expose face-down cards early on to give yourself more flexibility in gameplay.

The interface for the free Spider solitaire looks great! It's user-friendly and visually appealing. However, adding a confirmation pop-up for the reset button and the new Home button would really help. It’s frustrating to be deep into a game and accidentally hit the wrong spot on the screen, losing all progress. A little confirmation could make a big difference!
