1. Focus on Empty Columns

Empty columns are a powerful tool in Solitaire. Try to move cards so that you can create empty columns as early as possible. An empty column can hold any card, giving you more flexibility in future moves. This is a game-changer, especially when you need to rearrange cards to uncover hidden ones.

2. Use the Stock Pile Wisely

Before drawing from the stock pile, take a moment to plan your moves. Drawing cards too quickly can lead to missed opportunities. Always try to make moves on the tableau first (the seven columns) before using the stock pile, as this often opens up more options.

3. Uncover Face-Down Cards First

The goal in Solitaire is to expose as many face-down cards as possible. Whenever you have a choice, prioritize uncovering face-down cards. The more cards you have access to, the more flexibility you'll have for future moves.

4. Think About Card Placement

When stacking cards in descending order (from King to Ace), be mindful of where you place each card. Try to keep a balance between higher-numbered cards and lower-numbered cards in different columns, so you always have a range of options. Avoid placing a high card like a Queen or King in a position where it limits your choices.

5. Plan Ahead

Pay attention to the suit and color of the cards when stacking them in the tableau. Alternating colors (red and black) is the key to making efficient moves. This will help you to free up more space and eventually build complete foundation piles (Ace to King for each suit).
