Roadcam - WiFi remote management

The product looks great, but the night quality is terrible. The concept is solid, but the execution falls flat. The phone can't go on standby without crashing the app. Making or receiving calls leads to the same problem. I ended up buying a different camera.

Your idea about changing the verbal recording announcement to a tone or having the option to turn it off sounds fantastic. That would definitely enhance the experience for many users. The app struggles to connect to the dashcam. When it finally does, trying to access the storage results in a connection crash. Buying this dashcam feels disappointing. I could have chosen a better one with a proper app that supports Bluetooth or reliable Wi-Fi. The camera itself works fine, but the app creates constant problems. It’s frustrating to spend time installing the cam only for the application to fail so often!

This app is frustrating. It takes forever to connect and the camera opens slowly. You can’t adjust settings when the camera is off, which doesn’t make sense. The GPS won’t load either. The developers ignore reviews and emails. There’s no support available. Accessing files offline is impossible, which feels ridiculous. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend using this app at all.

This app was great before. Now playback shows only black screens. I can hear the audio, but no visuals appear. The only way to actually watch the videos is by downloading them. The timestamp issue is confusing too. Thumbnails show times that are 12 hours ahead. For example, a video marked as 11:00 am appears as 23:00 on Roadcam thumbnails. However, when I check the filename list, the time displays correctly as 11:00.

Connecting the phone to the camera feels like an endless battle. Finally, when I succeed, the connection drops almost instantly. All that hard work, and none of my video footage saves. It’s frustrating. Honestly, it feels pointless. Better to just get familiar with the camera settings instead.

This app is frustrating. It keeps freezing at the start. I reset my device multiple times, but nothing changes. My brand new dashcam is useless right now because the app won't function. I tried using it in the car, at the office, and home, but no luck. Restarting my phone over and over didn't help either.

The app is really slow. It needs updates to speed things up and display information clearly. Downloads? They just stop for no reason. So frustrating! I waited and finally downloaded a video, only to find it was just 15 seconds long. Such a letdown. I tried it on both Samsung and iPhone. The issues are identical. I hope they can fix this soon so we can actually use the app as intended. If you have any alternative apps, please let me know. I need something that works better for now.

The video quality is decent but only in normal resolution. Connecting my phone to the app took forever. Downloading video footage directly from the app isn’t possible, which makes it tough to save evidence in case of accidents or issues.
