Magnificent AMD Gaming/Streaming Build
CPU
The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is an 8-core processor that utilizes AMD SMT technology for a total of 16 threads.
If you'd prefer to consider a similar build, but instead using an Intel processor, be sure to check out our Magnificent Intel Gaming Build Guide.
Cooler
For better CPU cooling performance, we are using the Thermalright Phantom Spirit EVO.
Motherboard
We're using a parametric filter for B650 and B650E ATX motherboards. Our compatibility and pricing engines will automatically select the best-priced motherboard that is compatible with the rest of the build.
Memory
For memory, we're filtering for the best-priced 2x16GB kit of DDR5 RAM with a heatsink. We've limited it to DDR5-6000 and faster speeds and CAS latency of 30 or lower.
Storage
We are using a parametric selection of well-reviewed 2TB NVME M.2 SSDs. Everyone's storage needs differ, so you may wish to select similar SSDs with different capacities or even adding in a mechanical HDD for larger storage needs.
GPU
Our GPU is AMD's Radeon RX 9070 XT. Consider pairing it with a high refresh rate and/or high resolution monitor to take full advantage of the card's capabilities. The parametric filter is set for the best-priced RX 9070 XT available, but feel free to click the "From parametric filter" link to browse our listing of all RX 9070 XT.
To keep the noise and temperatures down, we've the filter to includes a minimum length and a minimum of 2 fans to avoid "mini" versions of the card, which prioritize fitting into small builds, such as an ITX case. You can choose to use this filter instead, if you want to include the smaller cards for any reason. Note that smaller cards will be louder or hotter - or both.
Case
All of our components are housed in the Corsair 4000D Airflow. This case features an all black design with a tempered glass side panel and mesh front panel. It includes one front panel Type-A USB 3 port, one USB3 Type-C port, hidden PSU mount, and a number of cable management holes and tie-offs to help your build look tidy. The case can also comfortably fit full-sized video cards and large CPU coolers.
There are other options in white and black/brown as well.
PSU
Powering the build is a sparse selection of some of the most well-reviewed PSUs available - all without breaking the bank. All of them are certified 80+ Gold and fully-or semi-modular.
Intel Version
Here is the Intel version of our Magnificent Gaming Guide.
Great Intel Gaming Build
Introduction
This PC is designed to deliver high performance on all of today's most popular games without being complicated to build or costing too much. It will run well at high settings on 1080p or higher when playing Valorant, Fortnite, Minecraft, Call of Duty, Marvel Rivals, and more.
CPU and Cooler
At this budget, we're running the Intel Raptor Lake Core i5-12600K. The 12600K features 6 Performance-cores with 12 threads, along with 4 Efficient-cores, and it will perform exceptionally well with all your gaming needs.
For better cooling, we've included the Thermalright Peerless Assassin.
If you'd prefer to consider a similar build, but instead using an AMD Ryzen processor, be sure to check out our Great AMD Gaming Build Guide.
Motherboard
We're using a parametric filter to constantly select the best-priced motherboard while meeting selected criteria. In this case, we are filtering for Z690 chipsets. The compatibility engine will filter out anything not compatible with the build. The motherboards are also capable of using the CPU's integrated GPU, in case you need to RMA your GPU or are waiting for a sale or upgrade.
Memory
We are filtering for a 2x16GB kit of DDR4 RAM with a speed of at least DDR4-3200 and a CAS latency of 16 or lower.
Storage
With Solid State Drives (SSDs) the PC will boot, open programs, and load games considerably faster than mechanical drives.
Since storage needs may differ, adjust the capacity as needed. We recommend at least 1TB of SSD storage. We're use parametric filters to incorporate a PCIe 4.0 NVME SSD with at least 2TB of space.
GPU
The Intel Arc B580 will let you play all modern games at high settings with smooth fps.
To keep the noise and temperatures down, the filter requiress a minimum number of 2 fans to avoid "blower" style cards and "mini" cards, which usually do not cool the card as well. You can choose to use this filter instead, if you want to include the smaller cards for any reason. Note that smaller cards will be louder or hotter - or both.
Case
All of our components are housed in the NZXT H5 Flow. This case features an all black design with a tempered glass side panel and mesh front panel. It includes one front panel USB 3 port, one USB Type-C port, a PSU shroud, and a number of cable management holes and tie-offs to help your build look cleaner. It can also comfortably fit full-sized video cards and large CPU coolers.
PSU
We're using a parametric selection of well-reviewed units, all of which are 80+ Bronze certified or above and can provide plenty of power for this build. Note that because there are issues with PSU availability right now, some non-modular PSUs have been added to the build to help you get the parts you need. These are still high quality PSUs.
PRICE TRENDS : CPUs
How to interpret price trend graphs:
Thick black lines represent the average price for parts in the given category. Gray banding represents the minimum / maximum price range. Individual part prices are displayed as light blue points within the gray banding, creating an intensity graph of the price distribution. Dips in the lower price bound typically correspond to sales, or in extreme cases merchant pricing mistakes. Price data includes promos, coupons, rebates, and shipping costs (when available).

Comments
It works very well. The compatibility options arent foolproof (some false positive/negative here and there) but is user friendly. I would love to be able to have access to additional filters (tho this part sounds like a massive pain to implement) like mobo pci-e gen (not just slot numbers) or even audio codecs. I wish we had access to graphs that would show us price history of our build, its evolution over time, etc.
HELLO! I think the App needs a little fix... For example: I couldn't find the Antec C7 case on it at all, while it's available on Amazon, C5 could be found but no white color on the app was available, and somehow the Lenovo Laptop With Ryzen 7945HX With The RTX 4090 wasn't available too. a bunch of cases that are unavailable while they are available now. beside of that great App. very helpful I I always recommend it to my friends and other people!
built loads of pc's on here. love the variety of choice for parts and it is usefull that I can change the price of things if I'm getting second hand so I can calculate. as well as that the app shows its sources for where the product price comes from on Amazon. No problems at all would recommend 👌.
Makes building your own PC a breeze! Has a compatibility filter, which is a GOD send. Pick the parts you want, then take it to Best Buy to have it put together. I would recommend this app to anyone looking to build a PC, from beginners to experienced.
