FAQ

Depending on the selected payment method there may be additional charges (handling costs). Most charges will be shown on screen before you buy credit. If you are based in the EU you will also be charged VAT on top of the chosen payment amount.

Currency

- Credit card payments are always charged in EUR unless your credit card currency is USD, GBP, CAD, NOK or SEK. In that case the card will be charged in the currency of your credit card.

- Webmoney, Skrill (Moneybookers), Boleto Bancario, Bank Transfer, charged in EUR or USD (based on your country setting)

- PayPal, iDEAL, MisterCash, SofortÜberweisung, charged only in EUR

- CashU, CashUdirect, OneCard, charged only in USD

Please note that when the charged currency differs from your countries currency you may need to pay a surcharge for the exchange (depending on bank or payment provider).

The tariffs for sending text messages can be found on the website of the supported VoIP brand you are using.

When you’ve send a Text Message and it was not received by your contact, something went wrong somewhere in the process. Unfortunately we can not give guarantees for delivery of Text Messages. However, when this is a recurring issue, please let us know by clicking the contact button and create a Helpdesk ticket.

Also, you may use special characters; however the use of special characters '(characters like ç, @, €, etc.) may result in longer messages (and higher charges). To check how many messages would be needed to send your message, please use the SMS function in your Myaccount or desktop client.

Maximizing Your MobileVOIP Experience

MobileVOIP offers three call options. Here's how you can get the most out of your MobileVOIP app. Of course, you can send Text messages using our mobileVOIP application as well!

Voip Call

This is the standard calling option; your call gets connected right away. You'll need a working Mobile data/WiFi connection to use this call option. You will be charged the regular rates of your VoIP brands; no extra costs or hidden charges.

Call Back

The Call Back option is a nice way to stay in touch with friends and family, even if the internet connection you're using isn't particularly strong. With a weaker Mobile data/WiFi connection, or if you would like to use as little data as possible, you can set up a Call Back call through the MobileVOIP app. We'll set up a call to your phone first, and then connect you with your contact. You will be charged for both the A-side and B-side call, as well as a set up fee.

Local Access

For a selection of countries we have Local Access numbers available. If you're in one of these countries, you can use MobileVOIP to set up a Local Access call in case of a weak internet connection. You will be charged for a local call, plus the tariff for the destination you're calling.
