Using Guide

Keepass2Android is a free and open source app to manage all your passwords in a way that's simple and secure. The app supports KDBX files, the database format used by the popular app Keepass2.x Password Safe for Windows.

The first thing to do when you start using Keepass2Android is create a master password, which you will need to access all the other passwords you store in this app. This password is especially important, so make sure it's really safe and you're the only one who knows it.

As you'd expect, Keepass2Android is compatible with almost all Android browsers. Whether you use Google Chrome, UC Browser, Dolphin, Opera, or any other, you can still protect all your passwords with just a tap on the screen.

Keepass2Android is an excellent password manager for Android that does its job very efficiently. The interface might not be super pretty, but it doesn't really need to be. A useful app for those who have lots of different accounts and too many passwords to remember.

I've been using this app for a little while now, and I have to say, it's pretty awesome. It's super easy to use and works perfectly with KeePass on Windows. I love that I can use both of them with the same password database. I keep my kdbx database on Microsoft OneDrive (the free version) so my phone and PC can both easily get to it. If you're having trouble with Google Drive, I'd definitely suggest giving this setup a try.

This app is almost perfect. I've been using it for 2 years and only recently encountered a significant issue. When I'm updating or adding an entry in the app, and the app times out or locks automatically, the database gets locked, and my changes are lost without any warning. It's frustrating as I've lost some edits and new entries due to this. The desktop app KeePassXc handles this scenario well – it shows a popup screen when you're editing or adding an entry to ask what you want to do. Please fix this issue in the mobile app as well. Thank you!

The app works well for me. I appreciate being able to view attachments like pictures directly in the app. However, recently I encountered a single issue after using it for a long time. When I changed a password within the app, the new password file was saved in my Dropbox. But when I tried to open it later, the app kept synchronizing for hours without successfully opening the file. Interestingly, I could access the updated file on my desktop. In the end, I had to uninstall the app and then reinstall it to make it work again.

This mobile version of KeePass is pretty good. It helps to fill in passwords on apps, but it does ask for the master key quite frequently, sometimes right after you've just signed in. You can sign in using the last three digits, but that doesn't seem to work well most of the time. It would be great if it allowed you to stay signed in. I might have to find a different option if this keeps happening. It seems to work better on one tablet compared to another. I wish there was an option to stay logged in or make the three-digit login the default setting.

I really like using KeePass 2 on my Android phone. It's one of my favorite apps for several reasons. Whenever the yearly donation reminder comes up, I usually donate without hesitation. I plan to keep using this app for many years to come. Having a reliable password manager is crucial, especially nowadays. I particularly appreciate the built-in keyboard feature, as it helps enhance security and make it easier to input credentials.

I use KeePass for Windows to manage my passwords. This app is really great because I can access my password vault on my phone. It has a simple design and is easy to navigate. I can even unlock my vault using my fingerprint. Recently, I encountered an issue with Google Drive, but I found some workaround instructions that helped me fix the problem.
