The HVACR Check & Charge™ mobile application from Copeland serves as an immediate refrigerant charge calculator for air conditioning and refrigeration tasks. Modeled after traditional sliding cardboard charge calculators, this app allows contractors to effectively compute the appropriate refrigerant charge for a variety of refrigerants, including R-22, R-410A, R-32, R-407C, R-134a, R-452B, R-454B, R-438A, R-422B, R-427A, R-421A, R-404A, R-290, R-449A, R-448A, and R-407A. Users can simply select Superheat, Subcooling, or Airflow options, then input the relevant system temperatures along with environmental loads that are latent and sensible. These inputs are evaluated to ascertain the correct system charge, and whether adjustments to the charge are necessary based on the conditions provided.
