The Fish Calendar from "Fish Planet" provides a reliable prediction of fishing trip success, catering to all types of fishermen, whether novices or seasoned anglers.

To view a comprehensive fishing forecast, simply select the day you're interested in. The likelihood of catching specific fish is visually represented in an easy-to-understand format for each species.

For ease of use, you can filter the forecast to display only the fish types you are targeting by turning off predictions for those species you won’t be pursuing soon. The app organizes fish by their families in the settings.

You can also set a specific location on the map to monitor the forecast for that area. This feature is particularly helpful when planning your fishing outings—just pinpoint a location, choose a day, and obtain the forecast.

The Fish Calendar can send you notifications regarding today’s forecast, which will also appear on devices linked to your mobile phone, including smartwatches and fitness trackers.

The forecasts are generated using the MathFish5.0 (TM) mathematical model, which considers various factors:

the climatic zone (an intricate three-dimensional model of Earth that incorporates terrain, permanent ocean currents, and winds);

the changing dynamics of the food chain at a specific location;

behavior patterns unique to each fish species—such as spawning, feeding, and winter habits;

the response of different fish species to lunar phases.

Factors not taken into account include:

local weather phenomena affecting fish behavior;

daily variations due to dawn, dusk, moonrise, and moonset;

the effects of tidal patterns on fishing.

The calendar includes 199 fish species, with the MathFish5.0 (TM) model developed for each one.

The free basic version of the app features 32 primary fish species.
