Who can use the e-constat?

You can utilize the e-constat if you are involved in a vehicle accident, whether it be with a car, motorbike, bicycle, electric scooter, or any other type of motorized personal transportation (such as a hoverboard or segway).

In which situations can you use the e-constat?

The e-constat can only be used for accidents that result solely in material damage.

This application applies to incidents involving one or two vehicles. In cases where a car and a motorbike are involved, both must be registered in France.

What are the benefits of using the e-constat?

The e-constat can be filled out on one or two smartphones and is transmitted directly to the relevant insurers once signed.

You will receive a summary of the information provided via SMS, along with a link to download the e-constat. A PDF version will also be sent to your email.
