Enable WiFi Calling on Your Blackview/oscal Phone

Scope: All Blackview smartphones with Wi-Fi calling.

Note: The availability of this feature depends on your phone model and network carrier. This feature only works if your network carrier and device support it. Contact your network operator for support.

What is WiFi Calling?

WiFi Calling or Voice over Wi-Fi (VoWiFi) is a voice calling service that allows you to make and receive calls over a WiFi connection. You can enjoy clearer calls without having to pay extra on your existing voice plan or download any apps. Follow these steps to enable WiFi calling on your Blackview phone.

How do I enable the WiFi call function?

Go to [Settings]> [Mobile Network]/[SIM Card and Traffic Management]/[SIM Card and Setup]/[SIM Card and Mobile Data]

Tap the SIM card on which you want to enable WiFi Call.

How do I allow WhatsApp to access the Contacts on my Blackview phone?

If your WhatsApp contacts are not visible, the Phone Manager may be blocking access. Here's a solution to fix it.

My contacts are not appearing on WhatsApp

1. Go to [Phone Manager] > [Privacy Permissions] > [App Permissions] > [Apps] > [WhatsApp] > [Contacts] and select [Allow] or toggle it on.

Alternatively, you can go to [Settings] > [App Management] > [WhatsApp] > [Permissions] and toggle on [Contacts].

2. Then, refresh the contact list in WhatsApp to see all your contacts that are using WhatsApp. At the bottom of the WhatsApp app, tap  >  > [Refresh].
