Utilizing the Digimarc Discover® App for barcode scanning has become quicker and more convenient than before. You can now scan Digimarc Barcodes, various 1D barcodes, and QR codes to gain access to online content.

The Digimarc Discover® app showcases the capabilities of the Digimarc Barcode along with the Digimarc Mobile SDK (Software Development Kit).

This app efficiently scans Digimarc Barcodes as well as widely used traditional 1D barcodes typically found in retail settings, such as UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN-9, EAN-13, Code 39, Code 128, DataBar, ITF, QR codes, and PDF417.

The Digimarc Mobile SDK enables applications to offer effective, dependable, and cost-efficient mobile scanning of prevalent barcodes in retail environments, including QR codes and Digimarc Barcodes, facilitating improved product packaging, interactive print, and audio experiences.

Tips for Detecting Digimarc Barcodes in Print

Launch the app and view the brief tutorial.

Hold your device four to six inches above the page and let your camera focus anywhere on the image.

Digimarc Barcode detection should be instant and will be indicated with a sound. If you don't immediately hear the sound, slowly move your phone toward or away from the image.
