Step 1: Access the Discord Official Website

Open your web browser and search for the Discord official website. Alternatively, you can simply click here to directly visit it.

Step 2: Click the “Login” Button

Once you've landed on the official Discord website, head to the top - right corner and click the “Login” button. This is the step even when you're creating a new Discord account.

Step 3: Click “Register”

When you reach the "Welcome Back" screen, you'll be asked to log in with your existing account. To create a new Discord account, click the “Register” option beneath the Log In button.

Step 4: Enter Your Basic Details and Click "Continue"

To create a new account, you must fill in the essential information. This encompasses your email address, the display name you'd like to have on your profile, the Discord username you select, the password you set, and your date of birth.

After providing all the required details, click the "Continue" button to move on to the next step.

Step 5: Prove You're Not a Robot

A verification box will pop up. You need to confirm that you're a human to move on to the next step. Once verified, continue to the subsequent stage.

Step 6: Verify Your Account

By this point, your Discord account has been successfully created. At the top of the Discord interface, you'll see a green bar that prompts you to verify your Gmail account.

Step 7: Open Your Email and Click on the Discord Verification Email

Next, log in to the email account you used during registration. Find the verification email sent by Discord in your inbox and click on it to open.

Step 8: Click “Verify Email”

After opening the verification email sent by Discord, find the “Verify Email” button and click it.

Step 9: Click “Continue to Discord”

Your email has been verified successfully, and your Discord account is all set for use. Just click the “Continue to Discord” button to start using Discord.

How to Set Up a Discord Account on Mobile Platforms: Android and iOS

Step 1: Launch the Discord Mobile App

First, download the Discord Mobile app from the Play Store if you have an Android device or from the App Store if you use an iOS device. Once the installation on your mobile is complete, tap the Discord app icon to open it.

Step 2: Tap “Register”

After opening the Discord app, you'll see a welcome screen. To start the registration process on Discord, tap the “Register” button.

Step 3: Enter Phone Number or Email

Now, choose your preferred way to register on Discord. You can either use your phone number or your email to create a Discord account. If you select the “Email” option, enter your email address and tap “Next.” If you pick the “Phone” option, input your phone number and then tap “Next.”

Step 4: Enter the Verification or Confirmation Code

After entering your phone number, a verification code will be sent to your mobile. Just enter the code and click “Verify.” In this case, we've chosen the “Phone” registration method to demonstrate the Discord registration process.

Step 5: Enter Your Display Name and Click “Next”

Next, type in your Display Name, which will be visible to others on Discord. Alternatively, you can skip this step and edit your Display Name later. After that, complete the Captcha challenge to prove you're a human.

Step 6: Enter Your Username and Password, Then Click “Next”

In the “Create an Account” area, enter the username and password you've selected. After that, hit the “Next” button to move on to the next stage of account creation.

Step 7: Enter Your Date of Birth and Click the “Create an Account” Button

Now, fill in your date of birth since this information is essential. Then click the “Create an Account” button.

Step 8: Click “Confirm”

Next, a pop - up will appear asking you to confirm that you're a human. Just click the “Confirm” button to validate it.

Step 9: Select a Profile Picture and Tap “Next”

Pick a profile picture from the available options. If you want, click the ‘+’ button in the profile picture area to import an image from your file manager. You can also skip this step and edit your profile picture after finishing the Discord registration. Once you've set up your profile, tap the “Next” button.

Step 10: Enable Email Search and Tap “Next”

Check the box to allow your friends to find you via your email or phone number. Then tap “Next.”

Step 11: Discord Account Created

Congratulations! Your Discord account has been successfully set up and is now ready to use. You can freely join existing servers or create your own based on your preferences.
