What Is the Point of Subway Surfers?

The goal of Subway Surfers is to achieve the highest score possible. Your score increases continuously as you play each round, so the longer you survive in a round, the greater your score will be.

Tip:Activate a Score Booster at the start of a round to multiply the points you earn while playing. To use an available Score Booster, simply tap its blue star icon as soon as the round begins.

In Subway Surfers, your score is based on the time you play, not on the coins you collect. Coins are used to buy items from the in-game store.

Does 'Subway Surfers' Ever End?

How do you conclude Subway Surfers? Subway Surfers does not have a conventional ending since it is an endless runner game. This means the game can theoretically continue indefinitely if the player is skilled enough to avoid all obstacles.

However, similar to Fortnite and other popular games, Subway Surfers introduces new content through seasonal updates. Each season is known in-game as a Season Hunt, which lasts several weeks.

Players have until the end of this period to progress through the tiers of the Season Hunt by collecting event icons during gameplay.

Each tier of the Season Hunt rewards players with an in-game item, with the final tier typically offering a new character skin. The official conclusion of each Season Hunt usually occurs around tier 30, so you can consider this as the end or completion of Subway Surfers—at least until the next Season Hunt begins.

How do you win at Subway Surfers?

Winning in Subway Surfers isn't about reaching a traditional endpoint, as it is an endless runner game.

Instead, success is measured by how long you can keep running while avoiding obstacles and collecting coins.

The longer you survive, the higher your score will be. Additionally, completing missions and collecting power-ups can significantly boost your score.

Can I Play 'Subway Surfers' Online?

Subway Surfers does not feature a traditional online multiplayer mode. However, you can compete against other players by checking your rank on the Subway Surfers online leaderboards. To access the leaderboards, simply tap the crown icon on the main menu.

What does the 2X do in Subway Surfers?

The 2X multiplier in Subway Surfers temporarily doubles the score you earn during gameplay. When you collect this power-up, it enhances your current score multiplier for a limited time, allowing you to accumulate points at a faster rate. For example, if your score multiplier is currently at 5, it will increase to 10 while the 2X multiplier is active.
