Crafting an Enchanted Book
1.Gather the Required Resources
To craft an enchanted book, you must collect the materials for the following items:
Crafting Table: It requires four wooden planks, which can be obtained from a single wood log.
Book: You'll need three pieces of paper, sourced from three pieces of sugar cane, and one piece of leather. The leather can be acquired by killing a cow or a horse.
Enchanting Table: This calls for two diamonds, four blocks of obsidian, and a book.
2.Access Your Inventory
You ought to be able to view the items for crafting within your inventory.
In Minecraft Pocket Edition (Minecraft PE), you are required to tap on the ... icon to bring up and access your inventory.
3.Construct a Crafting Table
To create a crafting table, you will utilize the four wooden planks. These planks are obtained by placing a single log in the crafting grid.
In the PC version of Minecraft, you need to click and drag each of the four wooden blocks into the two-by-two crafting grid located at the top section of your inventory.
For Minecraft Pocket Edition (Minecraft PE), you should tap on the tab positioned above the inventory tab on the left side of the screen. After that, tap on the icon representing the crafting table, which looks like a box with lines on it.
When playing on a console, press the "Crafting" button (either the X button or the circle button depending on the console), and then select a wooden crate from the options available.
4.Position Your Crafting Table on the Ground
To place the crafting table, you have to select it from the hotbar situated at the bottom of the screen.
In case your hotbar is already filled with items, you are required to first open your inventory. Then, substitute one of the items in the hotbar with your crafting table before you can place it on the ground.
5.Interact with Your Crafting Table
When you open the crafting table, it will display a three-by-three crafting grid. Additionally, (this is applicable only for the Pocket Edition and PC versions of the game) the contents of your inventory will also be visible alongside the grid.
6.Craft a Book
To create a book, first, place three pieces of sugar cane horizontally across the middle row of the crafting grid. After that, select the paper that is produced as a result. Next, arrange the three pieces of paper in an L-shape within the top-left corner of the crafting grid. Position the leather in the top-middle box of the grid, effectively completing the "L" shape.
In Minecraft Pocket Edition (Minecraft PE), simply tap the book icon located on the left side of the screen. Then, click the 1 x [book] button on the right side of the interface.
For the console version of Minecraft, navigate to the "Decorations" tab, specifically the paper section within it, and select the book icon from there.
7.Construct an Enchanting Table
To craft an enchanting table, place a book in the top-middle box of the crafting grid. Then, put a diamond in both the middle-left and middle-right boxes. Additionally, place obsidian in the center box and fill the entire bottom row with obsidian blocks. Once you've arranged these items correctly, you will notice the enchanting table icon appear on the right side of the crafting grid.
When playing on consoles, access the "Structures" tab, and within the crafting table area of that tab, select the option to craft the enchanting table.
8.Position the Enchanting Table on the Ground
You should place the enchanting table on the ground using the same method that you employed when you placed the crafting table previously.
9.Interact with the Enchanting Table. When you open it, you'll find a single slot where you can place your book.
10.Insert the Book into the Enchanting Table
To place the book in the table, on the PC version, you just need to click and drag the book into the designated slot.
In Minecraft Pocket Edition (Minecraft PE), tap on the book icon located on the left side of the screen to position it within the enchanting table.
When playing on consoles, first, navigate to and select the book from your inventory, and then perform the action to place it in the enchanting table.
11.Choose an Enchantment
The enchantment level that you can apply to your book is determined by your in-game level. When you select an enchantment, it will be applied to the book, and the book will change its color to purple.
For instance, if your character's level is 3, you are eligible to choose any enchantment that has a 1, 2, or 3 indicator beside it.
It's important to note that enchantments are randomly generated. As a result, you won't have the ability to pick a particular enchantment of your choice.
12.Pick Up Your Book
By selecting your book, it will be placed back into your inventory. Now that you possess an enchanted book, it's the right moment to use it on an item.
In Minecraft Pocket Edition (Minecraft PE), you need to double-tap the book in order to add it to your inventory.
