How to Create a PlayStation Account on a Computer
The PlayStation Network (PSN) is a digital entertainment service for your PlayStation. With a PSN account, you can download games and other apps. Here's how to create an account from your computer:
1.Open the Create an Account page on the Sony Entertainment Network and click on Create.
2.Choose your country from the drop-down menu, select your language, and complete the other fields in the form. Click Next when you are finished.
3.Input your date of birth in the designated fields, then click Next.
4.Please provide your email address and create a password for your new PSN account.
5.Review the Personalized Content page and adjust the settings according to your preferences by checking or unchecking the options. Click Confirm to proceed.
6.Choose "Agree" and then click on "Create Account."
7.Access your email and confirm your address by clicking the link sent to your Inbox from Sony.
8.Select the Online ID that will be visible to others while you play online games, then complete the rest of the form with your name. Click Next to continue.
9.Once you've completed the account setup, a success message will appear.
How to Create a PSN Account on a PS5
If you already have a PSN account on your PS4, you can log in with the same account on your PS5 console. If you do not have an account, you can create a new one directly from your PlayStation. Here’s how to do it:
1.Navigate to the Home screen and choose "Add User."
2.Click on "Get Started."
3.Review the user agreement, and if you wish to continue, check the box next to "I Agree." Then, click on "Confirm."
4.Select Create an Account.

6.Please follow the on-screen instructions.When prompted, enter your email address and create a password for your PSN account. After completing this, click "Next."The subsequent steps will ask for your name, location, and avatar.

8.Enter the Online ID you wish to use, then click "Next."
9.On the privacy settings screen, choose one of the available profiles or select "Customize Settings" to specify details such as who can view your real name and profile picture in search results and games.
10.On the Data Collection screen, you'll be asked if Sony can utilize your usage data to enhance its services. You can select either "Limited Data Only" or "Confirm and Continue."
11.When prompted regarding personalized ads and purchase recommendations, choose either "Disable and Continue" or "Enable and Continue."
12.On the Important Legal Documents screen, check the box for "I Agree," then click "Confirm."
13.Be sure to check your email! Click the "Verify Now" link in the email from Sony to verify your account.
14.On the Secure Your Account screen on your PS5, decide if you want to require a passcode for login and whether a password is needed at checkout. Click "OK."
15.If you wish to enable two-factor authentication, select either "Text Message" or "Authenticator App." Alternatively, you can choose "Do This Later."
16.You may optionally add a phone number to your account that Sony can use to assist you in resetting your account if you lose access. If you prefer to skip this step, select "Do This Later."
17.Finally, click "OK." You've successfully created a PlayStation Network account!
