Hulu doesn’t offer an option to set a default language for the service, but it does allow you to change languages while watching a video. When streaming a TV show or movie, the video player includes a language and subtitle menu, enabling you to select from available audio options and toggle subtitles on or off.
Here’s how to change languages while watching content on Hulu:
1.After starting a show or movie, click the gear icon in the video player.
2.Click English.
3.Click your desired audio language option and subtitles language options.
4.To adjust the subtitles, tap Settings.
5.Select the color, font, and size options you want.
6.Click Done to finish and go back to watching your video.
How to Watch Hulu in Different Languages
Although the Hulu player includes a language option, this isn’t typically how you access shows and movies in different languages. Most content on the platform is in English, but there’s a significant selection available in Spanish and other languages.
In many cases, non-English videos are listed separately from their English counterparts, titled in the format "Title (Language)" for clarity. While you may need to search specifically for these versions, Hulu often includes a link on the English-language page of a show or movie to facilitate easy switching.
1.Navigate to the page for a show or movie on Hulu that has a non-English version, and click Watch in (language).
2.Scroll down to find the title card for the alternate language version of the show or movie.
3.Click the title card.
4.The show or movie will play in the selected language.
