How to Add Money to Apple Pay Cash
If you reside in a supported country, here's how to add money to your Apple Pay Cash account.Money can only be added to Apple Pay Cash for users in eligible countries. Currently, this feature is exclusively available in the United States, although it is expected that more countries will support it in the future.
1.Ensure that Apple Pay Cash is properly configured. To do this, go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay, and toggle the Apple Cash option to enable it. Follow the prompts to verify your identity.
2.An Apple Pay Cash card needs to be added to the Wallet app. To do this, open the Wallet app and select the Cash card.
3.Next, tap the three horizontal dots in the upper right corner to access the settings for your Cash card.
4.Then, select "Add Money" and enter the amount you wish to add from the bank account linked to your Cash card. You can either choose a preset amount from the QuickBar at the top of the dial pad or enter a custom amount. Finally, tap the "Add" button.
How to Check Your Apple Pay Balance
Your Apple Cash balance is displayed on the main page of the Wallet app, so you don't need to tap on the card to view it. Alternatively, you can quickly access your Wallet by double-tapping the side button on your iPhone. Your balance can be found on the right side of the Cash card.
What Are the Different Parts of Apple Pay?
Apple Pay consists of three main components, each serving a different purpose. While some people may use these terms interchangeably, they are distinct from one another.
Wallet App: This app is available on iPhones and iPads and houses both Apple Pay and Apple Pay Cash.
Apple Pay: This is the payment feature that allows users to make contactless payments.
Apple Cash: This feature enables users to send money to one another, store funds in a digital account, and make purchases wherever Apple Pay is accepted. This is also where you can add money to your Apple Pay account.
You may also notice an option for Account within your Wallet app. This balance pertains to Apple gift cards and account credits, which can only be used for purchases from Apple, such as items from the Apple Store or App Store.
