Welcome to Zombie City Master – a standout in the realm of idle zombie games. Leave behind the tedious tower defense, survival, and other zombie-themed games; it’s your moment to initiate a full-blown zombie apocalypse! Keep your wits about you, as the undead are on the prowl!

In Zombie City Master, you have the opportunity to seize locations populated by relentless zombies in search of humans. Unlike traditional defense games, this title allows you to assume the role of a predator, unleashing your horde to hunt down the remaining survivors. This is not just another idle defense game; it’s an all-out human hunting expedition. To conquer each area, your zombies must relentlessly pursue and eliminate every last human attempting to evade capture.

SIMPLE AND ENGAGING GAMEPLAY

This idle zombie game offers straightforward yet engaging mechanics that promise hours of captivating gameplay within a zombie-infested city. Rather than being tasked with defending against attacks, your objective is to go on the offensive against those trying to resist you.

The larger your zombie horde becomes, the slimmer the chances for humans to survive. It’s not about the endurance of the living, but the supremacy of the undead that should prevail in this battle.

Turn humans into either corpses or zombies in this exhilarating game!

- Summon zombies to form destructive swarms and launch assaults on humans;

- Gather blood, brains, and bones from defeated humans;

- Utilize collected resources to strengthen and accelerate your zombies;

- Monitor the timer to complete levels before time expires;

- Construct a Bone Tank to oversee your bone collectors hired from the Graveyard;

- Establish the Cursed Graveyard to automatically generate zombies when your energy reaches its peak and manage their quantities in the Graveyard section.

UPGRADES

As a zombie hunter in this idle game, you can acquire upgrades to boost your effectiveness:

A Delightfully Twisted Take on Zombie Mayhem That Reignites the Genre

Zombie City Master flips the script on undead gameplay with such audacious creativity that I couldn’t help but revel in its carnage-filled chaos. Trading defensive survival for ruthless domination, this game transforms you into the architect of the apocalypse—a role that’s as refreshing as it is fiendishly satisfying. Commanding hordes of zombies to swarm panicking humans, razing neighborhoods while harvesting grisly resources like brains and bones, creates a perversely addictive power fantasy. The idle mechanics are brilliantly executed: watching my undead legions auto-assault survivors while I strategically upgraded their speed, durability, and damage via upgrades like Bloodthirst and Primal Reflexes kept me glued to the screen. Building the Bone Tank to manage skeletal minions and optimizing the Cursed Graveyard for zombie production added layers of tactical depth, blending automation with moments of active decision-making—like timing energy surges or prioritizing resource storage expansions. What truly hooked me was the game’s macabre sense of progression: each conquered district felt like a triumph of undead ingenuity, and the escalating challenge of beating level timers with an ever-evolving horde kept the tension razor-sharp. The art style, with its cheeky blend of grotesque humor and polished visuals, amplifies the gleeful absurdity of leading a zombie uprising. Whether fine-tuning my Brain Cage capacity or cackling as upgraded zombies tore through fleeing humans, Zombie City Master delivers a rare blend of strategic depth and mindless (pun intended) fun. It’s a blood-soaked love letter to idle gamers and strategy enthusiasts alike, proving that sometimes, being the villain—especially a zombie overlord—is the most exhilarating role of all.

    It's entertaining for a bit. After some time, it feels unbalanced and incomplete. You see various zombies but can't actually use them. Leveling up feels rare, sluggish, and lacks impact. Progress stalls suddenly with upgrades that seem ineffective. The zombie knight often goes down in most levels without a chance.

    I had a good time playing, even with all the ads. That's just part of free games. My main issue came when I gathered 360 gems. I watched a "free video" to open a silver chest, but when I returned to the game, it charged me 320 gems instead. Gems are tough to build up, so spending them on a silver chest felt like a waste. If they fix this and restore my gems, I might update my rating. The game shows promise if they continue to improve it.

    I was cruising through the game, having a blast. Then I hit level 201 and everything changed. A guy with a freeze gun popped up at a choke point. It felt like hitting a brick wall. Tried twice to beat that level, both times ended up with one last freeze character holding back a tide of over 200 zombies and a skeleton knight. The room is locked tight. The zombies can't get in, and the guy with the freeze gun just stands there. It's frustrating. No paywall involved. Just stuck there, and nothing I do gets me past this mess.

    It’s frustrating. You hit a wall with those ads after a while, right? And then there are these overpowered enemies popping up in places that feel totally unfair. Endless zombies keep coming at you, but every time you turn around, there’s another one-shot shotgunner waiting to take you out. You can’t even spawn inside the area. Only one way in. It feels like watching those optional ads just to move forward is the only option left.

    Ad bombardment starts around level 7 or 8. After that, ads pop up after every single level. Even if you've just watched one for a bonus, there’s another waiting for you. It gets excessive really fast. Prices on everything are sky-high. There’s no affordable option; everything feels overpriced. The gap between pay-to-win and free-to-play is enormous. Playing for free seems impossible unless you can only spare a few minutes here and there.

    The game is enjoyable, but lacks challenge. Upgrading feels restricted because the blood storage is insufficient for mid-level upgrades. Spending brains is the only way to increase that storage. Progression slows down in the midgame; ad rewards seem more fruitful than actual gameplay. Bones help boost upgrade rates, but their acquisition depends on time spent building. Gems, the premium currency, grow at a snail's pace unless you make a purchase.
