Game Review: Dracula City Master Idol Army
Hey, what's up guys? It's Tim Korsche, and there's a new game out called Dracula City Master Idol Army. Yeah, I know, the name is ridiculously long. But I wanted to make a review of it because it's new, and I love sharing fresh games with you guys. So, I signed in with Facebook, but bam – an error occurred. Let's go ahead and try as a guest to see what the gameplay is like.
Starting the Game
Alright, we're starting Chapter One. Let's dive in and see what we've got here. We enter the first level and face off against some enemies. I honestly don’t know what the game is about yet. All I know is that we’re spawning some monsters – or vampires? But they kind of look like zombies.
The gameplay is simple: when you tap, you create a monster. Energy regenerates automatically, so you can keep spawning more monsters. These creatures fight the enemies, and when they win, you collect blood and souls as resources. Blood seems to be the resource for chaos, and souls are rewarded per kill.
Upgrades and Resources
Let’s check out the upgrades. You can use blood to improve certain stats and souls to level up the monsters’ abilities. There’s also a shop with various packs, and you can watch ads for free rewards. But nothing too crazy here.
The game doesn’t have solid progression from one level to the next. Instead, you gather resources as you go, but each level is pretty unique. It’s not the usual format where you continuously progress through stages.
Leveling Up Your Monsters
We can upgrade our vampires – making them faster, stronger, and more resilient. The monsters start off a bit slow, and honestly, that’s a downside. But upgrading them really helps. I’ve already got some improvements to their health, speed, and damage, and it’s making a big difference in gameplay.
As you move forward, you unlock more upgrades, and the monsters get stronger. The enemy variety also increases, with new types like archers making things a little harder.
Gameplay Experience
So far, the game has a nice rhythm. You summon monsters, upgrade them, and clear enemies. The downside, though, is the slow pacing. It would be great if there were an option for 2x or 4x speed – especially since the battles can take a while. But the core mechanics are solid, and it feels satisfying to watch your army grow.
The Ads Problem
A big issue for me is the forced ads. Every time you finish a level, there’s a chance to get a forced ad, which really disrupts the flow of the game. Some games offer an ad-free pack, and I think that’s a great solution, but the constant interruptions are still frustrating.
Special Mechanics: The Dark Crypt
After progressing a bit, I unlocked the Dark Crypt. It’s a building that helps gather troll collectors. These guys automatically collect souls for you, which is a nice bonus. However, some buildings take quite a bit of time to build, and it can be slow unless you want to use the premium currency to speed things up.
The Boss Fight
When I reached the boss fight, I was a little worried about how hard it would be. But it wasn’t too tough. The bosses weren’t as strong as I expected, and with the upgrades, I managed to defeat them easily.
Final Thoughts
Overall, the game is fun. It’s not groundbreaking, but it’s definitely enjoyable if you like idle, incremental games. The ability to summon monsters and control the battlefield adds a bit of strategy, which I appreciate. However, the pacing is slow, and the ads can be a real turn-off.
That said, I’ll keep playing and see how it evolves. Let me know what you think about the game in the comments. Don’t forget to like and share the video if you enjoyed it, and subscribe for more content like this!
