What is SOS Recharge?

SOS Recharge is a cell phone credit loan for Claro prepaid customers, where the customer can request credits of up to R$20 via the Claro pay app, which will be credited to the customer's recharge balance. Each customer goes through an eligibility process and different credits will be available to the customer. The more the customer uses the service, the greater the chances of having higher amounts available for advance payment.

A service fee is charged on the advance recharge amount for each contracted amount.

How does SOS Recharge Claro work?

With SOS Recharge, you advance the recharge amount you need (within the available amounts) and use it however you want, without having to stop making calls, sending messages, connecting to the internet and signing up for promotions.

You have up to 15 days to use the credits (depending on the amount chosen) and up to 30 days to pay for your SOS by recharging your cell phone, which will be debited with the advance amount + the SOS Recarga service fee.

How to borrow cell phone credits from Claro?

To borrow cell phone credits from Claro, simply access the Claro pay app and follow the steps below.

· Access the Claro pay app

· Log in to your account

· In the main menu, click on SOS Recarga

· Read the instructions on the screen and click on simulate now

· Select the amount you want to borrow and click on ‘borrow now’

That’s it, wait for the amount to be credited to your Prezão Claro balance.

To request SOS Recharge, you must:

· Have a low recharge balance

· Be eligible for the service

· Have paid off the last SOS Recharge contracted

Yes, they are the same thing. SOS Recharge is a Claro service for prepaid customers to borrow cell phone credit if they don't have the money at the moment and only pay later.

What credit amounts can I borrow?

The amounts vary for each customer, and can be a minimum of R$5 and a maximum of R$20. Every customer goes through a credit analysis by our partner, who makes the amount available. Remember that the more the customer recharges, contracts and pays for SOS Recharge, the greater the chances of having higher amounts.
