You can:

4. I often want to go to places near subway stations and I don't know how to get there. Who should I turn to?
To help passengers choose the best route through the Metropolitan Transportation Network, the São Paulo Metro offers the Route System, which provides information on the entire route from the boarding station to the disembarking station, indicating the best route in terms of time and money. The search, which includes Metro, CPTM and EMTU terminal stations, can be done in two ways: either through a list of stations or through a map on which the passenger indicates the origin and destination. The service also indicates the operating hours of the stations and the estimated time to complete the journey. The results of searches made by passengers through the Metro Route System also display the Surroundings Map, which shows the points of interest near the stations.
Check the Metro Route System in partnership with Moovit.
Please note that itinerary information is also provided by our Passenger Service Department, which can be reached by phone at 0800-7707722, every day from 5:00 a.m. to midnight, or via the Contact Us section on the website. Station staff can also help in these situations.
5. I know that the Metro serves schools, but I am not a student and I am curious to visit the Operational Control Center. Is this possible?
Yes. There is a program called “ Know Your Metro ” in which passengers can visit a station, see the cabin of a train and see how the Operational Control Center works.
Interested parties must fill out the electronic form available on our website. As soon as a group is formed, everyone will be notified of the date/time/location. The event takes place on Saturdays.
6. I want to understand why on some occasions, especially during peak times, the stations on Line 3-Red operate with fewer blocks for boarding and more for disembarking.
The São Paulo Metro clarifies that any queues at the entrance blocks to Line 3-Red are a strategy to control the flow of passengers on the platforms, providing greater safety for passengers.
With this control, it is even possible to increase the speed of trains. The disorderly release of passengers has been proven to cause crowding on platforms and delays in trains, as it requires longer stopping times, increasing the risk of accidents.
