The new PID Lítačka mobile application completely replaces the PID Info transport application. The PID Lítačka mobile application searches for the cheapest fare and allows users to purchase single tickets that are valid for 30 minutes or up to 3 days directly from their mobile phones using a bank card. Users can also buy tickets without registering.
Discounts
Prague Integrated Transport system (PID) offers fare discounts for the following categories of passengers:
Children up to 6 years – free of charge
Children from 6 to 10 years – in Prague free of charge, in Region with 50% discount
Children from 10 to 15 years – in Prague free of charge, in Region with 50% discount
Juniors from 15 to 18 years – in Prague discounted season tickets, in Region 50% discount
Students from 18 to 26 years – in Prague discounted season tickets, in Region 50% discount
Seniors from 60 to 65 years – in Prague discounted tickets
Seniors from 65 years – in Prague free of charge, in Region with 50% discount
Accompanying a child up to 3 years – in Prague free of charge
How to use the app
1. How to purchase a ticket on the mobile app?
It is possible to select a particular ticket directly from the offer in “Tickets” section or purchase recommended ticket for the selected connection. In both cases you par for the selected ticket by your card. For the ticket to be valid for the ride (and ticket inspection) it has to be activated first.
2. How do I find out the login details for the Lítačka account?
1. I use the PID Lítačka application
Are you logged into application? Open the application and scroll down the menu to "... More"> "My Account"> the "Profile" tab. Below the photo you will find your registration e-mail.
Can't remember your password? Go to Forgotten Lítačka password, enter your registration e-mail and you will immediately receive an e-mail with a link to set a new password.
2. I use the e-shop pidlitacka.cz
Just remember what e-mail and password you used to log in to the e-shop.
Don't remember the registration email? Try to look for messages from the e-mail noreply@pidlitacka.cz in your mailboxes, if you find something, the given e-mail address is your registration. Alternatively, request a new activation e-mail or write to info@pidlitacka.cz.
3. I don't have an account (I use the Green Lítačka card)
In this case, you need to create an account on the pidlitacka.cz website and add the number of the Lítačka green card to it.
1. Go to Register.
2. Choose the e-mail and password you want to use to log in to the Lítačka account.
3. Link the account to your Lítačka card.
4. Click on "Cards" in the menu> select "Add identifier"> and select "Lítačka". Then enter the number from the card under your name.

3. How do I upload a coupon into the application?
For uploading a coupon into a mobile phone, it is necessary first to register the mobile application as an identifier. Sign in to the application by using your pidlitacka.cz account, insert a proper photo into your profile and after that do the identifier registration in the My Account section, Coupon tab.
Now all is needed is to buy or transfer a coupon into the application. For purchasing a discount fare per age tariff category, it is necessary for the application or your account, under which it is registered, to verify submitted personal data at a subsidiary. An exception applies for students having an ISIC card who can verify their student status online by entering an ISIC number.
The mobile application can be registered as an identifier in a device with an operating system iOS 9.3 and higher or a device with an operating system Android 6.0 and higher. In the case of the Android operating system only devices with inserted SIM card or with hardware-backed keystore support.
4. How do I verify that a coupon is really uploaded?
This information is displayed in the mobile application in the Tickets section, Coupon tab. A list of coupons connected with the mobile application is stated under a QR code. A full overview of all identifiers and coupons can be found in the My Account section, Coupon tab.
5. How do I buy a ticket in the mobile application?
It is possible to select a particular ticket in the application directly from the menu in the Tickets section or by a recommended ticket to searched up the connection.
During a single purchase, it is possible to buy tickets of a single tariff category only and up to 10 tickets at once. The number of purchased tickets can be changed easily by using a scrollbar. An essential part is the selection of the way purchased tickets are activated. The purchase is then reimbursed by your card.
A ticket is valid for transport (and check-in) it is first of all necessary to activate it and wait 2 minutes which is misuse protection that is not applicable in a region. For purchasing and activation of a ticket, an internet connection is imperative.
6. How is a ticket activated?
For a ticket to be used it is necessary to activate it and thus to mark its validity start. An internet connection is essential for ticket activation.
It is possible to activate a ticket directly during a purchase (an Immediate activation after purchase and a Specific Time activation) or you can stock up on tickets and activate them later (a Later manual activation) in the Tickets section or via connection search.

Tickets bought through the PID Lítačka application are valid across all Prague Integrated Transport zones, including integrated parts of the Central Bohemian Region and train services operated by České dráhy.
