Introduction

The UNI AIR app offers you eight convenient services for domestic flights, including booking tickets, payment options, itinerary management, check-in/e-boarding pass, flight schedules, flight updates, news from UNI AIR, and contact information. With the app, you can purchase discounted domestic tickets anytime and anywhere, saving both time and money, while also staying updated on the latest information from UNI AIR.

Functions

1.Booking Tickets –

This service allows you to book flights to all domestic destinations. Just select your desired itinerary, flight, and fare, then enter passenger details and credit card information to complete your travel booking effortlessly. In addition to a fast and straightforward booking process, we also regularly offer special fares for additional savings.

2.Payment Options –

Our ticketing service is available year-round! Simply input your reservation code obtained through our booking center or airport counter, select your ticket type, and provide credit card details to finalize your ticketing.

3.Itinerary Management –

You can check your transactions made via the UNI AIR website, app, or convenience stores after completing booking and payment. Additionally, we offer online ticket refund services. If you used the booking function, you also have the convenience of changing flight times.

4.Check-in/E-boarding Pass –

After completing your booking through the UNI AIR website, app, or convenience stores, you can choose your seat and check in from one day before the scheduled departure until 40 minutes prior, receiving your e-boarding pass instantly.

5.Flight Updates –

Stay informed on real-time flight arrival and departure times and status. Whether you are flying or picking someone up, you will always know the flight schedule.

6.UNI AIR News –

Get the latest updates and ticket promotions in real-time.

Ticket Usage Rules for Continuous Holiday Air Transport Periods

1.According to the Civil Aviation Administration of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications' domestic air passenger transport standardization contract, tickets for flights during statutory consecutive holiday air transport periods of three days or more are valid only on the day and flight; any tickets issued after this date will be void. Refunds must be processed at the original ticketing outlet/dealer before departure.

2.All fares (legal discount tickets, children's tickets, outlying island resident tickets, and various discount tickets) are subject to the aforementioned rules.

3.After completing a reservation, passengers must obtain a ticket and register their ticket number with our sales outlets within the issuance period specified by our company.

4.Passengers holding a valid ticket on the scheduled departure date may use that ticket to register their ticket number.

5.If a passenger is unable to travel on their originally booked flight for any reason, they must cancel their seat before departure and receive a refund from the original ticketing outlet according to the original ticket regulations.

Regulations for Each Ticket Type:

--Full Fare Ticket

Applicable to: Passengers aged 12 and above

Applicable Fare: Full Fare

--Children's Ticket

Applicable to: Passengers aged 2 and above but under 12

Applicable Fare: 85% of the full fare

Ticketing and Boarding Certificate: You must present relevant supporting documents such as your household registration, health insurance card, passport, or residence permit. All supporting documents must be originals.

--Infant Ticket

Eligible: Infants under 2 years old, accompanied by an adult, not occupying a seat

Eligible Fare: Free airfare

Ticketing and Boarding Receipt: You must present relevant documentation, such as household registration, health insurance card, passport, or residence permit, to issue a free infant ticket. Each adult may accompany a maximum of one infant not occupying a seat.

--Senior Citizen Ticket

Eligible: Only passengers aged 65 and above, including foreigners eligible for the Mackay Plan.

Eligible Fare: 50% of the full fare

Ticketing and Boarding Receipt: You must present a ROC ID card, health insurance card, or, for foreigners eligible for the Mackay Plan, a Permanent Resident Certificate with the "Domestic Public Transportation and Public Recreation Facilities Discount" notice. All supporting documents must be original.

--Loving Care Ticket

Eligible: Only passengers with a ROC Disability Certificate.

Eligible Fare: 50% of the full fare

Ticketing and Boarding Receipt: You must present an original ROC Disability Certificate. 

--Companion Ticket

Eligible: Holders of a ROC Disability Certificate with "Domestic Public Transportation" listed in the "Necessary Companion Discount" section on the back of the certificate. The accompanying companion will receive a 50% discount on the full fare for one person.

Applicable Fare: 50% of the full fare.

Ticketing and Boarding Receipt: Traveling with a disabled person requires the original ROC Disability Certificate issued by the Companion Ticket passenger.

--Outlying Island Resident Ticket

Eligible: Only ROC nationals registered in Kinmen/Penghu/Matsu traveling on routes from their registered area can enjoy the Outlying Island Resident Ticket discount.

Ticketing and Boarding Receipt: You must present your ROC ID card or household registration (household registration transcripts are not acceptable). Originals of all supporting documents are required.

Note

1.This booking system accepts a maximum of 4 passengers (including children) per booking. If there are more than 4 passengers, please make multiple bookings.

2.Impaired Companion Fares must be booked together with Impaired Fares. A citizen with a disability card may enjoy Impaired Fare. His or her compulsory travel companion may enjoy Impaired Companion Fare.

3.Bookings for unaccompanied children or Impaired Companion Fares are not acceptable via this system. If you have such booking requests, please contact customer service hotline.

4.The term "children" refers to passengers aged 2 to 11 years on the date of departure.

5.The term "Residents" refers to offshore island residents travelling to and from their registered residence.

6.According to Standard Contracts Involving Domestic Civil Air Transport Services, for the full fare and statutory discount tickets, the difference to the new fare of the ticket fare adjustment should be made up or returned.

--Where can I purchase domestic flight tickets with peace of mind?

You can choose to purchase domestic flight tickets through UNI AIR official website, UNI App, convenience stores, as well as the official websites of major domestic travel agencies. These are reliable channels for purchasing domestic flight tickets, providing you with a reassuring booking process and convenient, high-quality service.

We recommend that when searching for the best flight deals, if you use platforms other than our official website, please read the details and consider them carefully before booking tickets to avoid any potential loss of rights.

--Why can’t I complete “Refund application” for a ticket booked at UNI AIR website or UNI App?

Please confirm whether you have completed the " Online check-in ". If you have checked in, you need to cancel the " Online check-in " before applying for the refund application.

--Why can’t I use “Online check-in”, if my booking is booked from customer service center, or my ticket is issued/revalidated to a confirmed booking from "Waitlist" service via UNI AIR website?

Online check-in is available from 1 day up to 60 minutes prior to flight departure for bookings made through the UNI AIR website, UNI App or at convenience stores.

--How can I use seat selection service, if I cannot use “Online check-in” function through UNI AIR website or UNI App with my booking?

After completing booking transactions, you can use the seat selection service through the customer service center until 12 hours before the flight departure.

--Considering the unstable weather, can I make duplicate bookings?

For more passengers to book flights smoothly, it is not recommended to make duplicate bookings and purchase tickets repeatedly. You can purchase the full fare ticket, and make subsequent itinerary adjustments in the Event of Force Majeure.

--I have booked a ticket. How can I get it?

E-tickets are kept in the airline system, and there is no need to pick up paper tickets. Please bring your identification documents to the counter on the day of departure, and you can receive the boarding pass after check-in .

--How do I prove that I have taken a flight after receiving the electronic boarding pass with "Online Check-in"?

You can bring your identification documents to the airport counter to apply for a flight certificate.

--I should book a round-trip ticket, but I booked one way ticket. How can I modify it?

Domestic tickets are priced one-way, and you only need to make up for the return ticket.

--Why are there different promotional fares for the same flight?

There are specific ticket regulations for promotional discount tickets. The quantity of promotional discount tickets is limited, and the fares are provided until sold out. Passengers can choose a suitable fare according to the needs.

--I have received a credit card text message notification that there is a deduction record. Why cant I check the booking information online?

The message transmitted by the bank is for informational purposes only. If you have a successful booking, our system will automatically send a confirmation letter to your E-mail address, or you can use " Booking/Ticket inquiry " via the UNI AIR website or UNI App to further confirm.

If your transaction did not result in a successful ticket issuance, the credit card hold will be automatically released, and no charge will appear on your statement. No fees will be incurred.

Note: For transactions made using a debit card or UnionPay debit card where the ticket issuance was not successful, the time to release the hold will depend on the processing schedule of each card issuing bank. 

--What is the validity and refund deadline of the ticket?

According to the current terms of use for domestic flight tickets, full-fare tickets are valid for up to one year from the date of issue, and are refundable for up to one year from the ticket expiry date. (For the validity and refund deadline of special fare tickets, please read the terms of use and restrictions during booking.)
