ESHOT - Bus routes & real-time info

With the ESHOT Mobile application, you can efficiently and securely access key online information regarding public bus routes and stops within the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality area, managed by the ESHOT General Directorate.

WHAT ARE THE FEATURES OF THIS MOBILE APP?

The “Search” feature enables you to view bus stops for any chosen route in both directions and displays the current locations of buses operating on that route. Additionally, by selecting a specific bus stop, you can obtain information about incoming buses and see all the routes that service that stop.

You have the option to add any bus route or stop to a favorites list for quicker access later.

Moreover, you can set up notification alarms based on your preferred time interval and route. This will alert you a certain number of minutes before the nearest bus arrives at your selected stop.

The “Smart Card” section allows you to check your card's current balance, last boarding time, fare amounts, and deposit information. You can register multiple cards on your mobile device and set an alarm to notify you when your balance falls below a specified level.

The “Near” feature displays a map with the closest bus stops and card deposit or dealer points located near your current position.

In the “Access to POI” section, you'll find bus route and stop information related to various points of interest across İzmir, organized into categories such as shopping, education, accommodation, health, sports, and historical sites.

The “Bus stops near your address” option helps you find relevant bus stop details around a particular urban address, including specific district, neighborhood, street, building names, and apartment numbers that you can input.

Furthermore, you can access a complete list of bus lines/routes that connect with light rail, subway, and ferry transport options available in İzmir, such as İZBAN, Metro, and İzdeniz, by selecting your desired station or pier.

Lastly, this mobile application also provides the latest announcements and updates from the ESHOT General Directorate, along with an inquiry form menu for submitting your feedback on various topics.
