This game is an absolute banger, very easy to use and overall a fun game, although there's alot of things that I want to see to be added. One of the things I want changed is that it still says "name your city" even though this game is about civilization. Could be like "rename your country" or something like that, Overall the game is very good, I would 100% downloading this, no bugs for me, and I hope there would be no bugs for anyone else. Cheerio Lads!
Overall, best city builder out there (and I've played many). Edit: The gold mine is a waste of gold, it will take a daily player about 3 months to make that back... At least. It's rather disappointing that all top buildings can only be bought with gold. I still love the game, just wanted to point out a couple issues I've since noticed.
Very basic. It's an idle game. Virtually no challenge or complexity or progression. Can't save more than one city. It's fine as a passive way to design pretty cities and little more.
I’ve enjoyed playing Designer I and Space City before diving into Empire Ed. Each game brings its own charm, perfect for satisfying that creative itch. The mountains in Designer I are a fantastic touch. The exotic plants in Space City add so much beauty to the experience. Great job! Keep it coming.
Very fun and addictive game. It is truly one of a kind and deserves recognition for such. I love the aspect of building an ancient themed city. Literally 99.9% of games focus on either modern-day or medieval time era, but this game is unique. There is so many fun features, and I love the ability to see job percentages, ecology, your economy makeup, charts, and more! The game is always fun to play, and I am looking forward to future updates.
I just started playing this game and already know that it's my favorite type! Complete freedom to build and set your own goals, with a focus on economy rather than military... Aaahhh, yes! 😊 However, I do have 1 suggestion for the developer: Could you please put the building theme type (Norse, Egyptian etc.), in the information box that opens up in the build mode? It would really help! One more thing, is there any way of getting gold other than purchase? Do any buildings provide gold?
So I really like the this game. It has the two things I like, ancient history and city building. Its a fun simple game that has a lot of replay value.
But it does have issues but there sorta minor. Now the first issue is that the walking animation for people is gone. Idk if it’s a glitch or something else. But that’s a really minor issue. Now the second issue is that the game won’t allow me name or rename my city. Which I feel like ruins the vibe. I hope you fix this cause I really like this game. I hope this review is helpful.
Fun, but if you’re OCD, these changes would be helpful to not drive you nuts … 1. Needs more designs for services. Each building needs fire, police, church and education to be near, but there is no match for many buildings. It looks stupid to have a Chinese buildings with Greek buildings. It doesn’t make sense. 2. If you pull something out of your warehouse, auto take from the warehouse if you have more than 1 building. It’s a pain to find an item, place it and then find it again for each item.
