Customize and edit your profile picture in Kapwing
When setting your profile picture to show support for Ukraine on social media, you’re limited to the predefined designs using the country’s flag and colors. If you want to make your profile picture more distinctive, you can use Kapwing to add extra elements.
To begin, go to Kapwing’s free image editor and click Get Started.
After uploading your profile picture to Kapwing, you can incorporate various elements such as a blue and yellow border, a GIF of the Ukraine flag, or even a transparent overlay.
Below, I added a blue and yellow border to my profile picture by resizing the image, changing the background to Ukraine’s yellow (#ffd700), and adding a blue outline (#0057b7) around the image.
To add more spice to your profile picture, search through Kapwing's image and elements library for copyright-free GIFs, stickers, and emojis you can add to your profile picture.
When you're satisfied with your profile picture for Ukraine, click "Export Image" or "Export GIF" in the top right-hand corner of your studio, and download your project!
Add the Ukraine flag for Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok
Once you’ve customized your Ukraine-support profile picture, start sharing it across social media! Each platform offers unique ways to show support, such as setting a Ukraine-themed profile picture frame or adding a flag to your profile bio.
Besides customizing your profile picture, you can set the Ukrainian flag as a Facebook profile picture frame.
First, go to your Facebook profile and click on your profile picture to select Update Profile Picture. After clicking Update Profile Picture, choose Add Frame to browse available frames.
To show support for Ukraine, type "Ukraine" in the search bar and find the Ukrainian flag frame for Facebook profile pictures to set as your frame.
Although Twitter doesn't have a profile picture frame like Facebook, you can add the Ukraine flag emoji in your Twitter bio after setting your customized profile picture.
