MOVING MAP

Utilize our interactive moving map for both planning and navigation. You can select from aeronautical charts, satellite images, or our vector map as a backdrop. The moving map provides waypoints, NOTAM, obstacles, and airspaces sourced from our extensive and always current worldwide aeronautical database. Simply tap any waypoint on the map to easily create your route. Tailor the navbar to display the specific information you require: altitude, vertical speed, bearing, distance to the next waypoint, ETA calculations, and more. Choose arrival and departure procedures for your route to have them visible on the moving map.

ENHANCED TRAFFIC AWARENESS

Receive visual and audio alerts in multiple languages for nearby traffic conflicts. You can opt for your preferred traffic icons, whether generic, aircraft, or TCAS symbols. Your safety is paramount; hence, we collaborate with SafeSky to provide our users with real-time traffic data during their flights. This live traffic data integration comes standard with our Smart Lite, Smart Classic, and Smart Advanced subscriptions—offering you a comprehensive package!

ADVANCED WEATHER LAYERS

In addition to basic weather updates such as winds and TAF/METAR for your journey, subscribers of the Smart Advanced plan can activate translucent weather layers over the moving map. These layers include rain radar, wind, pressure, cloud cover, visibility, gusts, and specialized reports for regions like Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and the Balkans. Tap on any spot on the map to get localized weather information. Review forecasts for up to three days ahead.

NOTAM

Once your route is set, adjust the future departure time to see NOTAM relevant to that specific moment displayed on the moving map. The color of NOTAM on the map changes dynamically based on their status.

SMARTCHART

Our innovative SmartChart is an exceptionally detailed and intelligent vector-based chart that adjusts to your requirements, supplying pertinent information at any zoom level. The SmartChart enhances the display of shadows to clearly differentiate between valleys and mountains, ensuring text remains well-aligned for optimal readability. It includes the latest upgrades such as detailed forest and airport data.

ELEVATION PROFILE & SYNTHETIC VIEW

Activate the profile view beneath the navbar for enhanced awareness of upcoming elevations along your planned route. Select corridor widths from 0 to 5 NM and overlay various options like airspaces, NOTAM, obstacles, and populated areas. Switch to the synthetic view for additional terrain details, complemented by an artificial horizon indicating altitude and vertical speed. This feature also facilitates panning around while preparing for your flight. Activate TAWS on both views for added safety.

AERONAUTICAL CHARTS & APPROACH CHARTS

We provide an extensive catalog of aeronautical charts globally, including ICAO charts. Access georeferenced approach charts over the moving map or synthetic view.

BRIEFING

Prepare for your flight using our briefing segment to compile documents with relevant NOTAM and weather charts pertaining to your planned journey. Save time by creating an aircraft profile, which will automatically populate the ATC Flight Plan and compute W&B in the Briefing section.

Frequently Asked Questions

 I renewed my subscription or reinstalled Air Navigation Pro but my products are not updated.

iOS : If you bought your products directly from the App Store , log in with your Apple ID when launching the App on your device. Go to Configuration > Installed data > Restore . Once the restore is complete, select the product to download it.

Android : If you bought your products directly from Google Play Store, log in with your Google account when launching the App on your device. Go to Configuration > Installed data > Restore . Once the restore is complete, select the product to download it.

Air Navigation website : If you bought your products directly from our website Store, log in with your account when launching the App on your device. Go to Configuration > Installed data > Restore . Once the restore is complete, select the product to download it.

 I mistakenly purchased the wrong product. Can I get a refund or change it for another?

Yes, as long as the refund period is active. 180 days for PayPal, 90 days for Apple and Android.

For the purchases made through PayPal, contact us at support@airnavigation.aero. Make sure to attach the PayPal purchase confirmation you received via e-mail. Our team needs the transaction number to proceed with the refund.

For the purchases made through the App Store, please contact Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund.

Purchases in the Google Play Store can be refunded within two hours in the play store. After this period, contact us at support@airnavigation.aero and send us the purchase confirmation with the GPA number (GPA…-…-…-…)..

 I reached the maximum number of devices. How can I revoke one device?

You can remove devices from your account instantaneously by logging out of Air Navigation Pro on the device you want to revoke.

For this, on your app go to Configuration > Account > Log out.

If you no longer have access to the device, sign in to your account on our website and on your Profile page under Devices you can submit a revoke request. Approval on our side can take up to one week.

To accelerate the process, you can send us your request via email at support@airnavigation.aero.

 I cannot find the installed charts on the moving map. How can I display them?

iOS : If you bought your products directly from the App Store, log in with your Apple ID when launching the App on your device. Go to Configuration > Manage data and products > Products Settings > Restore purchases . Once the restore is complete, select the product to download it.

Android : If you bought your products directly from Google Play Store, log in with your Google account when launching the App on your device. Go to Configuration > Manage data and products > Products Settings > Restore purchases . Once the restore is complete, select the product to download it.

Air Navigation website : If you bought your products directly from our website Store, log in with your Air Navigation account when launching the App on your device. Go to Configuration > Manage data and products > Products Settings > Restore purchases . Once the restore is complete, select the product to download it.

 I use Android and iOS devices. Can I use one subscription on both devices?

Absolutely, you need to be connected with the same account on both devices. Configuration > Account.

Then restore your purchases by going to Configuration > Installed data > Restore

You will be able to download all the charts previously purchased.

 I forgot my password. How can I retrieve it?

You can recover your password directly through the App by going to Configuration > Account > Forgot password? > Enter your email address and follow the instructions.

Alternatively, you can recover your password by connecting to our website https://airnavigation.aero. Select My Account > Sign in > Recover password > Enter your email address and follow the instructions.

 I cannot access my account even though I purchased the App

Some long-time users are not recognized by Android devices.

In order to unlock your account, please visit https://play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory and send us a screenshot of your purchase confirmation to support@airnavigation.aero.

 I have an active subscription but want to upgrade to one of the new Smart subscription plans, how does it work?

The handling process depends on the platform through which the subscription was originally purchased.

iOS: You will be refunded for the remaining duration of your current subscription on a pro-rata basis and charged for a new full-year subscription.

Android: Your subscription will be upgraded immediately without additional payment required. The expiration date of your running subscription will be adjusted based on the price difference, resulting in either an earlier or later renewal date.

Air Navigation website: It will depend on the remaining time of the subscription. If more than 3 months, you will pay pro rata for the price difference until the expiration date. If less than 3 months, you will still pay pro rata for the remaining time, but you will also be charged for another full year of subscription.

Note: To avoid duplicating subscriptions and ensure that your active subscription is accounted for, you must upgrade through the same platform you originally subscribed to.

 How do I manage my subscriptions?

Air Navigation Pro Subscriptions acquired through Air Navigation Services are managed via PayPal. To manage or cancel your subscription log in to your PayPal account. Click on your profile > Payments > Manage automatic payments > Show active > Air Navigation Pro > Cancel.

For iOS subscriptions: Go to Appstore > Your Profile > Subscriptions > You can select another one or cancel it.

For Android subscriptions, go to Play Store > your profile > Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions > Air Navigation Pro.
