Step into a post-apocalyptic environment where your primary objective is to survive.
Confront challenges in two thrilling gameplay styles:
EXPEDITION:
Engage in battles with the infected and other survivors, hunt for valuable resources, and ensure you extract your findings before time runs out. Formulate your strategy wisely to return unscathed.
HORDE:
Protect yourself from relentless waves of infected, and receive supply drops after every round. How long can you hold your ground?
A solid Internet connection is essential for an optimal gaming experience.
Currently, there is just one map available for each mode, but I am actively working on expanding this.
That Cardboard Shield Actually Saved My Life: How This Gritty Survival Sim Became My Unhealthy Obsession
Review: I went into this expecting another generic zombie shooter, but within twenty minutes of my first Expedition run, I was genuinely stressed. Not frustrated—stressed. Hearing my character’s ragged breathing while sprinting through rain-slicked ruins with only 90 seconds left on the clock, an infected arm suddenly grabbed me from a collapsed subway tunnel.
Panicking, I emptied my last pistol rounds point-blank, stumbled toward the extraction chopper with 3% health, and genuinely cheered when it lifted off. That raw, tactile desperation defines every session. Horde mode is its own breed of terrifying brilliance—where "just one more wave" becomes a mantra. Holding a crumbling gas station with nothing but a nail board and a scavenged Molotov while airdrops crash land just barely out of reach creates pure, unscripted chaos. What elevates it beyond its limited map pool is the sheer weight of consequence. That slightly-chewed tape deck you almost died retrieving? It’s the only way to unlock a perk slot before your next run.
The cardboard shield crafted desperately during Wave 6? It actually blocked a lunging ghoul later, buying you a precious second to heal. Player interaction is minimal but savage; another "survivor" waved peacefully during an Expedition, then executed my partner mid-loot grab—a betrayal that felt more impactful than any scripted villain. This isn’t about complex systems; it’s about razor-sharp tension balanced on a knife’s edge.
That lone gas station map? I know every broken window, every blind spot, every pixel of cover because every second counts when the horde crests the hill at sunset. For all its austerity, this game crafts more authentic adrenaline than bloated AAA titles—I’m already counting down to its next map drop.
