This application incorporates your phone's volume buttons into a customizable notification.
Additionally, it introduces new buttons in the quick settings menu of your Android device (✏️) to manage various system volume levels:
1.Slide down the drawer from the top bar of your device.
2.Tap the pencil icon located in the corner.
3.Move the new Volume Tile buttons upwards to activate them.
4.Set up the buttons within the app.
Access your device's sound sliders right from the upper bar!
This compact app can be particularly advantageous when you wish to maintain or share any media streaming during a voice call. It's also useful when access to the physical volume buttons is constrained or if you prefer using a fully touch-enabled device.
Moreover, it can prove invaluable when there's a need to quickly adjust any background audio. Ever wished for such functionality? Now you have it!
This software is open source and does not ask for any special permissions.
Feel free to report any issues or suggest features. Your insights are always welcomed!
* If your device manages both notifications and ringer volume with a single slider, this application will not allow you to control them independently.
* For Android 4.x users, please download the v0.9.5 version directly from GitHub.
"Volume Master: Reimagining Sound Control with Elegance and Precision"
Volume Master has revolutionized how I interact with my Android device, turning mundane sound adjustments into a frictionless, almost artistic experience. As someone who juggles podcasts, calls, and music daily, the app's genius lies in its simplicity: repurposing the volume buttons as custom notification triggers felt like unlocking a hidden superpower—no more fumbling through settings mid-jog to silence a ping. The real magic, however, shines in the sleek quick-settings tiles. Setting them up was effortless—a quick drag-and-drop in the edit menu—and suddenly I had granular control over every audio layer, from media to alarms, accessible with a single swipe down. During video calls, discreetly lowering my ringtone without killing background music became second nature, while road trips with friends saw us passing the phone to queue playlists via these tactile sliders like a DIY DJ board. As an open-source enthusiast, I cherished its transparency; no invasive permissions, just clean code I could scrutinize. The lightweight design left my battery unscathed, and the ability to tweak background audio during workouts (when greasy fingers refused to grip physical buttons) felt like sorcery. While Android 4.x users face version hoops, modern devices will find this app indispensable—a Swiss Army knife for audiophiles and multitaskers alike. Volume Master isn’t just an app; it’s a manifesto proving that smart design can elevate even the simplest interactions from functional to unforgettable. If your phone’s sound controls still feel stuck in 2010, prepare for an upgrade that’s music to your ears—literally.
