Upload Simulator: The Hypnotic Thrill of Watching Bars Fill

I scoffed at first—a game about… uploading?—but within an hour, I was hunched over my tablet at 2 AM, obsessively upgrading quantum routers while muttering, "Just one more gigabyte!" This deceptively simple idle gem transforms digital drudgery into a dopamine cascade. That first "restart" mechanic hooked me: sacrificing hours of progress to unlock neural interface uploaders felt like trading stone tools for lightsabers. Suddenly, my progress bar zipped across the screen like a comet, scattering sci-fi SFX that made my mundane Wi-Fi feel archaic.

The magic? Turning abstraction into adrenaline. Hunting for "100TB SD Cards" in the tech tree became a treasure hunt; surviving "ISP Troll Attacks" required frantic firewall minigames. When my first laser beam internet upgrade unlocked—pixels dissolving into light-speed streaks—I actually cheered. Random events aren’t distractions; they’re narrative sparks: NFT drops funded black-market server farms, while "DDoS storms" forced nail-biting resource triage. Even idle phases mesmerize—watching terabyte counters climb as my homebrew server farm hummed with holographic drones satisfied some primal completionist itch.

This isn’t gaming; it’s digital archaeology for the cloud age. Where else can you fuse retro floppy disks with quantum-entangled drives while cat memes rain as currency? For spreadsheet lovers and sci-fi dreamers alike, Upload Simulator rewires patience into pure, progress-bar poetry.

Idle and incremental games often get a tough review from me, but this one caught my attention. I was almost at the finish line when my phone decided to turn off unexpectedly. My progress vanished in an instant. The save feature looked great. If only I had used it! An auto-save option would be fantastic for moments like this, just one slot for safety. The settings were impressive too. They helped clear clutter during the late game, which made things smoother. I also think a milestone marker would be helpful. It could show how much further you’ve come since your last play session. That way, players can easily track their progress.

At the beginning, the game brought a lot of excitement. The new content added recently created buzz. Then, I hit a wall. Progress ground to a halt. Upgrades skyrocketed in price, leaving me struggling. The latest update removed the non-reboot upgrade. Now, I have to repurchase it. My plan was to chase all the achievements, but now I feel less motivated.

This simulator game is fantastic! The optional ads make the experience enjoyable. No annoying in-app purchases interrupting the fun. I have one idea that could make it even better. Since the game pulls content from Steam, why not let players sign into their Steam accounts? Imagine pulling games straight from our libraries. That would be awesome!

This idle game offers a pretty enjoyable way to pass the time. Some descriptions are unclear, making it hard to fully grasp certain features. The endgame feels almost absent. Many significant upgrades come at you quickly, often within an hour of each other. This rapid pace makes it tough to get excited about them. As for the endgame, it's all about reaching higher numbers. That concept works but starting point feels too low with numbers like e50s.

Time expansion is limited to 2 now, which feels disappointing. On the bright side, the game has its strengths. A strange issue pops up with reputation. It doesn’t seem to update until I upgrade the Advanced Research Facility. Once I do, it jumps and tells me I've hit a new Reputation Level. Not sure if this is a bug, but it definitely feels like one.
