How has the process changed with the introduction of the new system upgrade?
With the implementation of eDAS 2.0 and Cabinet Resolution No. 38 of 2022, LCA (electronic) attestation has become mandatory for goods imported into the UAE valued at Dh10,000 and above, effective from February 1, 2023. There is no longer a need to physically scan documents and manually input data.
