Game rules Truco

Main Objective

The main objective of the game Truco is to make 12 points before your opponent does.

Points are disputed by the hands that are divided into 3 rounds ("best of three"), where it starts at 1 point, and it is possible for players to increase to 3, 6, 9 and 12 points, in that order.

In each dispute, a card is turned on the table (flips) defining which will be the highest cards (shackles) in that hand.

Descriptions

The game has 4 players, forming duos, sitting in alternate positions.

    Players - 4.

    Deck of Cards - a traditional (or spanish) pack, without Jokers, 8's, 9's or 10's.

    Distribution - 3 cards each participant.

Scoring

At their own turn and before playing, each player can call for Truco. In doing so, he asks the adversaries if they accept, they run or they raise the Truco to Six. If they accept, the hand changes to a 3 points win and keep going on. If they run, the duo that asked for Truco wins the hand and scores 1 points. But if they ask for Six, the previous team need to decide if they accept the raise, run or even re-raise asking for Nine and so on. The bet can only be raised in the following order: 3, 6, 9 and 12. For example, he can't ask for Nine if the hand is worth 3 points or ask for Six if it's worth only 1. A team can't ask for Truco twice in a row. When a duo runs, the other wins the hand and gets all the points in play. Example: the hand is worth 6 and a duo asks for Nine. If the adversaries run, the ones who asked for Nine will get 6 points (the actual hand value). At the 11's Hand the players can't ask for Truco. If they do so, they automatically loose the game.

fraction of the hand, happens in the rounds that the players shows a card

Shackles

the four biggest cards in the game, they are decisive and can't tie

Zap", "Gato" or "Zorro

the highest card in the game and its suit will always be Clubs; also called "7 of clubs"

Copa, Copilha ou Copeta

second largest and its suit will always be hearts; also called "7 of hearts"

Espada" or "Espadilha

third largest and its suit will always be Spades; also called "7 of spades"

Golds, "Pica-Fumo", "Bebinho" or "Mole"

fourth largest and your suit will always be Diamonds; also called "7 of diamonds"

Truco, Three Points

Nine

Truco Signs

The four facial signals available at GameVelvet are always the same, but the relationship between the signal and the shackles changes with each round. That is, showing your tongue can mean that you have the 'zap' or 'gato' in one round and in the next, it can mean a sprat or swords.

Always follow the graphic that appears in the lower right corner in the Windows, Mac, Linux application and in the lower left corner on iOS, Android and Facebook.

All players see the signals that are exchanged by the pairs, but only the partners know what each one represents. These can be sent at any time during the game, so feel free to signal your plays!

1. How do I edit my profile?

After logging in with your nickname and password, follow the steps below:

    1) Locate the -YOUR ACCOUNT- box;

    2) Click on -Change your registration-;

    3) Make the desired changes and click on -CHANGE-.

2. What is a Report?

This command is used to make an official report to the site administration. It is activated by a red button present in several places on Mega (Album, Messages...), the reported content is sent for analysis by Support.

I was insulted/insulted in the game/room chat, what should I do?
