1) What is a Booking ID?

Helicopter Booking ID is IRCTC reference No. against the confirmed booking and is the reference for particular booking that is logged in Helicopter Booking System. The Helicopter service provider will be able to assist you with the help of this number.

2) What are the helipad stations from which I can book helicopter services for Shri Kedarnath Dham and Shri Hemkund Sahib?

You can book helicopter services from Sirsi, Phata, and Guptakashi for Shri Kedarnath Dham, and from Govindghat to (Ghangaria) for Shri Hemkund Sahib

3) Can I make a group booking for Helicopter service through IRCTC website?

Yes, you can book maximum of 06 passengers in a single transaction i.e per ticket against the registered User ID/Group ID/Booker ID.

4) How many tickets can be booked by a single User ID/Booker ID?

Maximum 02 (two) Helicopter Tickets can be booked per User/Booker ID with maximum six passengers (06 Nos.) per Ticket i.e. a User/Booker can book for a group of maximum 12 passengers on 2 tickets with a single User ID /Booker ID. For booking tickets for a group with more than 12 passengers, the User/Booker will be required to Signup with another UserID/Booker ID on heliyatra.irctc.co.in., if already available Or create another User ID/Booker ID for booking tickets for a group with more than 12 passengers.

5) Can I book Helicopter service for an individual in case of group registration?

Yes, you can book Helicopter service for a single passenger also through Chardham Yatra registration No. which was allotted by UTDB at the time of Yatra registration.

6) Do we need to register for the Char Dham Yatra or Shri Hemkund Sahib before booking helicopter services?

Yes, Yatra Registration is mandatory for this year's Char Dham Yatra or Shri Hemkund Sahib Yatra pilgrimage in Uttarakhand for all tourists.

7) Is the Char Dham / Shri Hemkund Sahib Yatra registration mandatory to book Helicopter on IRCTC website?

Yes, it is mandatory to book Helicopter Service on IRCTC website.

8) What are the payment option available to Book Helicopter Services Online?

For user convenience, there are multiple payment options like Credit/Debit Card, UPI, Net banking etc. are available to book tickets for Helicopter service on IRCTC website. EMI/Pay Later options are also available to users under Paytm, Razorpay, ICICI, etc.

9) How can I register for the Chardham or Shri Hemkund Sahib Yatra?

To register, visit the Uttarakhand Government website at https://registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in and click on the Register/Login button to access the Chardham or Shri Hemkund Sahib Yatra Online Registration/Login form. Fill in your personal details accurately and complete the registration process.

10) How can I Book ticket for Helicopter Service Online?

Pilgrim/Passenger can check the booking status online by following the below steps.

Open IRCTC website www.heliyatra.irctc.co.in

Click on the Sign Up button, enter Name, Mobile No, Email ID, State and password which you want to create for login

Login using credentials (Registered Mobile No. and password)

To book Helicopter ticket enter (Chardham Yatra Registration) Shri Kedarnath Dham / Shri Hemkund Sahib Yatra Registration Group ID for Group booking or enter individual registration No. to book Helicopter ticket for individual.

Select Operator and Time slot for which you want to book Helicopter service.

Select Passenger details for which you want to book for Helicopter Service.

Enter ID card details for Individual passenger, if not done earlier in Yatra Registration.

Validate your One-Time Password (OTP) which you have received on your registered email ID or Mobile No.

After validation of OTP click on pay & confirm with acceptance of all the terms and conditions.

Choose payment option and pay the booking amount.

After successful payment, Payment page will be redirected on the booking confirmation page with booking details.

On the booking details page, click on the Download Ticket Button.

11) How can I download my Helicopter Ticket online?

Pilgrim/Passenger can download Helicopter Booking voucher online by following the below steps.

Log onto heliyatra.irctc.co.in

Login using credentials (Registered Mobile No. and password).

On the Top Right corner, click on Booking Tab to check your booking

Click on the Booking ID

On the booking details page, click on the Download Ticket Button.

12) How can I cancel my Helicopter Booking?

Online Helicopter tickets booked through IRCTC website can be cancelled only on IRCTC website by following these steps.

Log onto heliyatra.irctc.co.in

Login using credentials (Registered Mobile No. and password).

On the Top Right corner click on Booking Tab to check your booking

Click on the Booking ID which you want to cancel

On the booking details page, click on the cancel button.

Click the check box displayed against passenger(s) whom you wish to cancel in the booking.

Click on the cancellation button to complete the cancellation process

Refund amount against ticket cancelled online will be made to the same user bank account for which payment was made in 5 to 7 working days.

NOTE: By following the above steps, your booking will be cancelled and refund details will be displayed.

13) How can the authenticity of a helicopter ticket be checked online?

You can verify the authenticity of the helicopter ticket by Scanning of QR printed on Ticket by mobile’s camera.
