Geocaching4Locus is quite useful when seeking information about geocaches on-site. The add-on also provides support for refreshing previously saved geocaches in Locus Map, features live mapping, and many additional functionalities.

Restrictions for Geocaching.com Basic Members

• The nearest search feature only identifies traditional, event, and CITO geocaches (Importing a specific geocache via URL or manually entering a GC code is unrestricted).

• Basic members are unable to use the filters for container size, difficulty, and terrain.

• Geocache attributes and associated images are not accessible.

• Access to geocache listings is available online only.

Required permissions include:

• Fine (GPS) location - necessary for obtaining coordinates through GPS (a GPS-enabled device is not mandatory)

• Coarse (network-based) location - required for determining coordinates using Wi-Fi or cellular networks

• Full Internet access & Network state - needed for downloading geocaching data

• Write external storage - utilized for saving geocaching data for Locus Map
