Sun Position, Sunrise & Sunset - Track sun's movement

Sun Position is an application that provides users with sunrise and sunset times, as well as the solar and lunar path displayed on an augmented reality camera view for any chosen day of the year at their current location. Additionally, it offers a useful data screen presenting information such as moon rise/set times, golden hour and twilight times, and moon phase details.

The app features a map view that showcases the daily sun and moon paths in relation to the user's current location. Users can also add a widget to their home screen showing sunrise/set times for the present day and location.

This version of the app serves as a demonstration of the complete Sun Position app, with limitations restricted to showing sun position data solely for the current day. Users interested in viewing data for any day of the year are encouraged to explore the full version.

Some practical uses of the app include planning photography shoots by determining precise timings and locations of sunrise and sunset, assessing sunlight availability in specific areas like kitchens when considering a new home, designing gardens based on sunny and shaded spots, and evaluating potential obstructions for installing solar panels.

Using Tips

To avoid having lots of apps making sound at the same time, Android has something called audio focus. When you play a music app it will hold this audio focus. However, if you open another one it will 'steal' the focus and start playing instead.

Our Metronome Beats app has a Preferences option to 'Ignore audio focus' which will allow it to keep playing with other music apps. On some phones you will also need to add Metronome Beats to the 'Protected Apps' list on the phone to get this to work properly.

You can manage your subscription from your phone by doing the following:

- Open the Google Play app

- Tap on the profile icon in the top right hand corner

- Tap on 'Payments and subscriptions'

- Choose 'Subscriptions'

- Here you will find a list of all your subscriptions and options to manage them.
