CONS

Excessive ads causing frustration for users

Import issues with certain .pkpass files

Bugs affecting time accuracy and event details

Limited functionality for editing existing passes

User data privacy concerns with targeted ads

Interface can be clunky and unintuitive

Difficulty in using local images instead of online sources

Lack of support for multiple ticket imports at once

Occasional failures in saving passes correctly to Google Wallet

Pass2Pay is the essential app for managing your passes, tickets, and cards on your Android device, allowing for straightforward integration with Google Pay™ or Huawei Wallet.

With Pass2Pay, you can import various types of passes, including those in pkpass format (compatible with Apple Passbook), directly from PDF files or by taking a photograph. Once processed, these passes can be sent to your preferred service, whether it's Google Pay or Huawei Wallet, enabling easy access across all your devices.

You also have the option to create passes manually.

The types of cards you can add include all those accepted by pkpass, Google Pay, and Huawei Wallet, such as transport tickets, event tickets, gift cards, loyalty cards, and promotional offers.

Important Notes:

- As a user, you are fully responsible for the passes you import, ensuring they comply with legal standards and adhere to the creator's terms.

- Our association with Google Pay and Huawei Wallet is limited to utilizing their free tools for pass creation.

- There is no formal relationship with Apple or its Passbook application beyond the capability to read pkpass formatted data.

The Wallet Wizardry That Finally Declutters My Life

Pass2Pay solved a problem I didn't fully grasp until my first "holy scrap!" moment: desperately fumbling through my physical wallet at a crowded concert entry while holding drinks, searching for a fading paper ticket. With this app, I scanned that crumpled stub directly using Pass2Pay’s camera—transforming it into a crisp, glowing Google Pay pass in seconds. Thateffortless elegance became my new normal. What hooked me was the tangible liberation: turning a dozen coffee loyalty cards (cluttering my drawers) into neatly organized tiles on my phone, ready to scan with one tap. Creating a custom gym membership pass with their manual tool—adding my photo, tier level, and expiration date—felt strangely empowering.

It’s the niche flexibility that stunned me. When a niche convention emailed .pkpass tickets incompatible with my Android, Pass2Pay seamlessly imported the file. One click later, it was nestled alongside my train card. Offline? Saved passes work flawlessly. The sheer relief of boarding rush-hour trains just tapping my phone—no battery anxiety from juggling airline apps—feels like digital peace of mind. Of course, responsibility matters: verifying pass validity is crucial (scanned that dubious "free spa day" voucher skeptically), but the agency it offers outweighs the caution. This isn’t magic; it’s meticulously crafted utility solving everyday friction with silent grace.

Pressing Pass Queries:

Q: Does it work with ANY physical pass?

Most scannable barcodes/QR codes convert flawlessly—event tickets, loyalty cards, library passes. NFC passes require special issuer support. Tested successfully on faded, crumpled, and laminated passes!

Q: Google Pay vs. Huawei differences?

Functionality near-identical. Huawei Wallet excels in China, Google Pay has broader global accessibility. Pass2Pay transfers smoothly between services too.

Q: Is manual pass creation robust?

Surprisingly versatile! Added custom fields to my car wash punch card, designed backgrounds, and set reminder notifications before expiration. Perfect for small businesses/communities.

Q: Privacy risks? Where’s my data?

Passes live ONLY in your chosen wallet (Google/Huawei). Pass2Pay processes scans locally—no account needed, zero data collection. Your passes = your responsibility.

Q: Apple Passbook (.pkpass) limitations?

Imports perfectly but won’t syncto Apple Wallet (Android restriction). View & use all data via Google/Huawei Wallet seamlessly though.

My partner booked a plane ticket on their iPhone and shared the .pkpass file with me. I wanted to add the ticket to my Android wallet. I found a post on XDA about Pass2Pay. I downloaded it and added the ticket to Google Pay without any hassle. Just started using it, so there might be some issues later, but everything works perfectly now. Totally recommend it.

Right from the start, that's a fantastic idea. Some services really should have Google Pay but don’t. Take American Airlines, for instance. Uploading the boarding pass from a photo was a breeze, so thumbs up there. It's mostly reliable, aside from some glitches with local time—I find myself adjusting it by a few hours. One thing holding me back is TSA Precheck. Having that accessible on my phone would be amazing, especially with those long lines waiting at the airport.

This app is amazing! It handles adding passes from pictures or PDFs effortlessly. Scanning Apple Wallet pass files could use some tweaks, and the location mapping feature would benefit from enhancements. Allowing the addition of local images for branding the passes would make it even better, instead of relying on just internet searches. Overall, it's a fantastic tool with room for growth.

Great option for services that can't use Google Wallet. An app feature to open "Add to Apple Wallet" links would make it even better.

The questions really drew me in. Friendly integration across browsers and UIs sounds exciting! Can't wait to see that happen.

The app looks great and seems perfect for my needs. The design is appealing. Unfortunately, it struggles to import QR and barcodes from various PDFs in my Google Drive. The back button navigation also feels quite strange.

Great news! The issue has been resolved. Thanks for your patience! There was a time when users couldn't set their own time zones. This caused some confusion, especially with timings between Google Pay and Pass2Pay not matching up. It’s frustrating when different apps show different times. Now everything is working smoothly.

The app generally performs well. I find myself editing the event time every use. Not sure if it's an app issue or the pkpass files are incorrect. Pass2Pay should address this problem. An option to automatically adjust for timezone by a set value would help. It wouldn't solve everything, especially with summer time and specific event time zones. But it would definitely be an improvement.

This app works well for adding pkpass tickets to Google Wallet. It's surprising that Google doesn't have this feature built-in yet. The interface feels simple but does the job and is easy to use. My only issue is the ads. I had to watch a 30-second ad before uploading each pass. I needed to add four passes, so that's two minutes wasted. I would definitely pay for an ad-free version.
