I don't remember the email address of my Netatmo account or my password, how do I proceed?

Email address

If you do not remember the email address of your Netatmo account, we suggest you do a quick search with the keyword "Netatmo" in your different e-mail accounts to find any Netatmo related message. If this search remains unsuccessful, then you will have to create a new Netatmo account and reinstall the products with it.

Password

We are not able to recover a password which has been lost. If you do not remember your password, you must reset it by accessing the authentication page of the Netatmo web or mobile app, and clicking on the "Lost Password?" link. Enter the email address of your Netatmo account and click on the "Send" button. An email with a link to reset your password will be sent (check the spambox if the email is not received within a couple of minutes). Lastly, click on the link and follow the instructions to create a new password.

Attention

On the password reset request page, be sure to enter your account address correctly. If the email address entered does not exist in our database, you will not receive the reset link and no warning message will be displayed.

Where does Netatmo stand concerning the data privacy of the users?

The collection and processing of Personal Data, done when you use the Services provided by NETATMO, are carried out in accordance with Data Protection Legislation, inter alia, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council ("General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679" or "GDPR") as well as any other European or domestic regulations applicable in this field that may be added to or subsequently replaced by it (mentioned hereinafter as "Data Protection Legislation").

I would like to change the email address or password of my Netatmo account, how do I proceed?

Password

The password of your Netatmo account can be changed in the following menu:

Mobile Apps: Settings / My account / Change my password

WebApp: Settings / My account / Security / Change my password

Once the old password is entered, type the new password twice and click the "Send" button to validate the password change.

NB: In this menu, you can also disconnect your account from all devices and third-party applications accessed with this Netatmo account. We strongly recommend that you use this function in case of suspected unwanted connection, phone theft, etc.

Email address

The email address of your Netatmo account can be changed by accessing the following menu:

Mobile Apps: Settings / My account / Change my email address

WebApp : Settings / My Account / Profile / Change my email address

Once the new address is entered twice, type the password and click the "Send" button to receive a confirmation email to the new address (check the spam box if the email is not received within a couple of minutes). Open this email and click on the link to validate the change of email address.

Comments

You will not receive any e-mail from us, including when resetting your password, if the address entered during the creation of the account is invalid.

If the new email address is not verified after creating the account, you will not receive notification emails such as account activity, monthly savings reports, low battery alerts, etc.
