A Heart-Racing Odyssey Where Strategy Meets Survival’s Edge

From the first desperate skirmish in Monster Survivors: Last Stand, I was thrust into a relentless ballet of chaos and cunning, where every decision pulses with life-or-death stakes. The game masterfully marries white-knuckle combat with cerebral strategy—one moment I’m frantically kiting a horde of screeching horrors, the next I’m agonizing over which survivor’s ability to upgrade, knowing a wrong choice could doom my next run. The dynamic challenges are the star here: no two waves play alike, forcing me to adapt tactics on the fly, whether pivoting from area denial to precision strikes as the monster types shift. But the true adrenaline surge comes from the boss battles—colossal abominations that demand not just reflexes but Sherlock-level pattern recognition. Toppling my first titan, a skyscraper-sized beast with magma-cracked armor, after memorizing its telegraphed slams and exploiting a fleeting weak spot, was a triumph that left my hands shaking. Character progression is equally addictive; unlocking a medic’s AoE heal or a berserker’s crit-charge transformed my squad from scavengers into saviors, each upgrade feeling like a hard-earned lifeline. Visually, the apocalypse has never looked so grimly gorgeous—neon-accented ruins and grotesque creature designs pop amidst the chaos, while the soundtrack’s throbbing basslines amplify every heart-pounding escape. Monster Survivors doesn’t just test your survival instincts; it hones them into a razor’s edge, offering a loop of tension and reward so compelling that “one more run” becomes a mantra. For anyone craving a survival game that respects both brawn and brains, this isn’t just a stand—it’s a masterpiece.

This roguelite has its charm, but the enemy projectiles drive me crazy. In a packed screen full of enemies, they blend in and become nearly invisible. It shifts the game from relaxing to overly intense. I crave an option to turn them off completely. Charge a dollar if needed, but just let me eliminate them or provide a solid upgrade to nullify them. “Reduced damage” or any half-measures won’t cut it. Just want them out. Aside from that annoyance, the game is quite enjoyable.

I had a blast playing this game. Every single day, I was hooked. Then came the update. Suddenly, several legendary armor pieces vanished. Just like that, my characters struggle to get past wave 10 on most levels. And to top it off, my 1000 gems disappeared while I was trying to beat those levels. Such a letdown. It's disappointing when updates mean losing all the cool gear you worked hard for. Not worth downloading at all.

This game felt fun at first, but now it’s frustrating. Watching ads every time I play isn’t enjoyable. I’ve bought season passes twice and played for months, yet I've barely upgraded any gear. Now it’s all about grinding for "Power-ups," just to face the same level over and over. Almost four days stuck there feels endless. It’s exhausting. The developers seem to have moved on from creating a good experience. They got my money, and that’s about it.

The game is incredibly enjoyable with plenty of progression and upgrades. You feel excited as you improve your character and skills. However, the experience becomes frustrating due to the constant flood of ads. Initially, ads appear infrequently, which feels manageable. After about an hour, that changes. Ads pop up after nearly every wave. Suddenly, you find yourself watching ads almost as much as you play the game. It disrupts the fun and makes the overall experience a bit painful.

Ads everywhere! After every couple of rounds, another ad pops up. Rounds last just half a minute to a minute. So, every two minutes, there's another ad. Plus, you have to sit through ads just to earn standard rewards like in other games. My character hit level 50, and now it feels like I’m watching ads more than actually playing the game. The gameplay itself is pretty awesome. I love rogue-like games, and this one has solid controls and great weapons. The parkour aspect is a blast! It would get a five-star rating if not for those relentless forced ads ruining the fun.

The game is a blast and really hooks you in. The pay to play prices feel way too high. However, there are some good low-cost options for in-game currency. Running the game on low settings is essential, especially if your battery isn't great. Overall, it's super enjoyable, but the ads are overwhelming. The cost to remove them is just crazy. This game ranks high for me, but it has room to grow. I'd be more willing to spend if the prices weren’t so steep for everything.

Fun times at first. The game truly shines until level 30 hits. Stuck for a month now. No way to move forward without spending money. Even if you reach the boss, he takes you out in two hits, even with maxed stats at level 30. Frustration grows because blueprints don’t drop to level up beyond 30. Plus, paying six dollars to remove ads? They stay right there.

This game has some fun moments, but there's definitely a catch. I went ahead and bought the ad remover for $9, thinking it would make my experience smoother. Turns out, it only gets rid of the short ads that pop up after each game, not all of them. If I had known, I wouldn't have spent that money. There are still tons of those skip video ads. The season pass promised to remove all ads too, but that's not the case either. It feels like a letdown and a waste of my cash.
