The prayer times (Salat Times) are established based on the position of the sun, with each time of prayer corresponding to a specific solar position. Salah, or Salat in Persian, is an obligatory act (Fardh) in Islam that every Muslim must perform five times a day at specified times. Prayer is one of the five pillars of Islam.
A Muslim is required to pray five times a day. The first prayer is the "Fajr prayer" early in the morning from Subhe sadik until sunrise. This is followed by the "Zuhr time" from noon until the "Asr time." The third prayer time is "Asr time," which can be performed before sunset. The fourth prayer time is "Maghrib time," starting immediately after sunset and lasting approximately 30-45 minutes. About 1 hour and 30 minutes after Maghrib is the "Isha Waqt," which extends almost until "Fajr Waqt." Apart from these five obligatory prayers, it is also necessary to perform Witr prayers after Isha prayers. Additionally, there are several other recommended sunnah prayers that Muslims can perform.
It is crucial for the Muslim Ummah to accurately know the Salah times. Our app is designed to help you determine the precise prayer times anywhere in the world.
