What started as a peaceful cast into tranquil Antler Lake soon blossomed into a globe-trotting pursuit, with each new location like Bahia Honda or Las Vueltas providing not just beautiful scenery, but distinctive collections of fish to pursue and strategically challenging waters to master. The core loop of casting, feeling the tension build on the line (conveyed well through the interface), and fighting a fish is deeply satisfying and intuitive. 

Where Go Fishing! truly surprised me, however, was the competitive depth. Engaging in 1v1 duels against friends added a thrilling layer of tension and camaraderie, while the Tournaments (both daily and special events) genuinely captured that global competition buzz, pushing me to refine my techniques and strategically deploy boosts like Sonar to gain an edge. Switching seamlessly between the serene underwater view (perfect for lure selection and appreciating the aquatic life) and the surface tension of the catch remains one of the most elegant features. While the progression offers a satisfying grind unlocking gear and locations, the Season Pass and special events provided welcome goals beyond just the catch log. It’s become my go-to for both tranquil solo sessions and surprisingly intense competitive fishing bursts.

A: Extremely impressive, particularly underwater. Fish models and animations are remarkably detailed, and the environments truly feel alive. It’s one of the game's strongest points.
