Clash Island: Save the Dwarves is an exceptional 3D strategy game. In this adventure, players will strategize to infiltrate the island and face the threats posed by Orcs in order to free the captured dwarfs.

STORY

Long ago, in Northern Europe, many dwarves were celebrated for their intelligence and diligence; they lived harmoniously in mountainous regions and were expert artisans. According to Viking mythology, there existed a clan of dwarves that focused on crafting weapons for the deities, renowned for creating hammers and axes known for their destructive power.

At the same time, there arose a ferocious beast known as the Orc, who served a dark lord. Their ancestors, once Elves, had been tortured under the dark lord’s command, leading to a transformation in their appearance. They were tasked with capturing the finest dwarven blacksmiths on remote islands to forge high-quality weapons for struggles over dominance.

Forever yearning for freedom, the dwarves, with support from allied forces, banded together to stage an escape from their island prisons. Leveraging their skills in mountain environments and their cleverness, will the dwarves be able to utilize the terrain to secure their liberation? Let’s find out!

FEATURES

- Real-time 3D strategy gameplay: Select your positions and maneuver your troops to combat the Orcs, with each dwarven army equipped with unique strategies to counter various threats. Utilize your tactics wisely and devise a careful evacuation plan!

Mountain Mastery: Where Terrain Becomes Your Tactical Anvil

From the first rumbling rockslide I triggered to crush an orc patrol, Clash Island transformed from predictable tower defense into a breathtaking 3D chess match—where every cliff face, narrow pass, and collapsing bridge became a weapon forged by my cunning. My admiration crystallized not in grand cutscenes, but in those white-knuckle moments: watching my Stonemason Dwarves autonomously chip at a granite pillar while I desperately kited Bloodfang Raiders toward the precipice, their pathfinding instincts turning environmental sabotage into brutal poetry.

The game’s genius lies in its elegant duality: you command macro strategy (unit deployment, upgrade priorities, evacuation routes) while trusting dwarves to execute micro combat with startling intelligence—a Miner ducking boulders to flank, or a Crossbowman retreating to high ground when overwhelmed.

Progression feels earned, not given. Liberating a forge didn’t just unlock upgrades—it reshaped my entire approach. Training basic Miners into Molten Maulers (wielding superheated pickaxes that ignited oil traps I’d laid) created devastating synergy, while unlocking Tunnelers let me bypass chokepoints entirely by carving secret paths through mountainsides.

Each island is a puzzle-box of verticality: icy peaks demanded ice-axe climbers to create slippery death zones, while jungle temples rewarded vine-cutters who could drop entire battalions into hidden spike pits. The orcs aren’t mere fodder; Shamans summon corrosive pools to melt your fortifications, while Armored Brutes require coordinated rockfalls and flame-arrow volleys. Victory isn’t about overwhelming force—it’s about orchestrating the landscape itself into a symphony of falling stone and dwarf resilience.

Integrated FAQ Touches:

"How 'hands-off' is unit control?" Perfectly balanced. Dwarves auto-fight with impressive context-awareness (archers seek elevation, tanks body-block for wounded), but you strategically position them pre-battle and trigger map-altering abilities (collapses, traps) mid-fight. Micromanagement is environmental, not unit-based.

"Does terrain truly matter?" Critically. Flat maps are exceptions. Success hinges on exploiting elevation (archer dominance), destructible pillars (crushing crowds), narrow ledges (funneling enemies), and interactive hazards (lava flows, avalanches). Memorizing map geography is as vital as unit levels.

"Are upgrades impactful or incremental?" Revolutionary. Unlocking the "Earthshaker" ability for Miners lets them trigger localized quakes to stagger elites. Tier-3 Crossbowmen gain fire arrows that ignite tar pits you’ve strategically placed. Upgrades redefine possibilities, not just stats.

"Replay value beyond 3-star clears?" Immense. Challenge modes impose restrictions (no ranged units, timed escapes), while Heroic difficulty remixes enemy compositions and terrain layouts. Secret dwarf artisans offer unique upgrades for discovery repeat runs.

The Verdict: A masterclass in tactile strategy that makes you feel less like a commander and more like a vengeful mountain spirit. One rescue attempt inevitably becomes ten—each ridge and ravine whispering new possibilities for orc-crushing creativity.

This game feels like a direct copy of Bad North. It seems like original ideas are hard to come by these days. Why not create something fresh instead of recycling someone else's work? The user interface looks almost the same, and the map generation follows suit. Unfortunately, the gameplay doesn't deliver. Downloading this just contributes to a decline in gaming quality.

This game brings such a sense of peace and joy. The gameplay is incredibly enjoyable. Imagine a night theme with stars twinkling overhead. That would be amazing!

A fresh egg arrives. It’s a fun game, all about making choices under pressure. The visuals set the right mood, not too flashy, just like an indie gem. Ragdoll mechanics add a nice touch. There's so much promise here. It’s still in beta, but I enjoyed the first couple of chapters. They left me wanting more. Thanks to the developer for this experience!

This game truly shines. It reminds me of Bad North, which I enjoyed on mobile but had to pay for. This one takes the experience even further. I’d give it a perfect score, 100 out of 10. Absolutely amazing!

This game is amazing! It really keeps you engaged. I can’t wait for the next update! Five new campaigns would make it even better. Imagine all the new adventures and challenges that could come with them. The excitement of exploring fresh content sounds incredible.

I came across a game that reminded me of Bad North. I saw an ad showcasing its footage and got curious. Honestly, it turned out better than I expected. The character models for the orcs and people didn’t really appeal to me, but the gameplay felt familiar. The mechanics and strategy are almost identical to Bad North. Overall, it's a solid game. You don't have to shell out 200 pesos for the mobile version like I did; I paid 500 for the PC version on Steam. Not bad at all, though I did find myself impatiently waiting for my energy to refill.

It’s disappointing. I had high hopes for this game, especially coming from the developers of Bad North. The charm and style of the original set such a high standard. This sequel falls short in several ways. The art lacks that vivid appeal. The menus don’t have the same elegant touch. All those elements contribute to the overall experience. It just feels incomplete.

Gems play a crucial role in enhancing gameplay. They often serve as currency for various upgrades, new units, or special abilities. Players use them to strategize and strengthen their armies. Adding more than four commanders could change the dynamics of the game significantly. Imagine the chaos and excitement! It would allow players to deploy different strategies and tackle those overwhelming orc numbers more effectively. Adjusting the commander cap could offer a fresh experience, especially in endless mode where challenges keep escalating.

The game isn't terrible, but it has some frustrating design issues. You reach an island and find yourself stuck. Going back to earlier islands doesn’t earn you new money. Trying the new islands also leaves your finances unchanged. This situation leaves you without the resources to upgrade your troops, creating a real deadlock.
