When I dragged the rusty pickaxe into the fusion tank for the 37th time, the low-quality flashing special effects that burst out looked like a scrap car parts recycling site. In this world called Cat Mine, the so-called "merge advancement" is nothing more than pushing the same weapon icons through the assembly line. The cats in automatic combat waved their pickaxes like puppets, and I became the supervisor in front of the screen - long pressing the ad button is like feeding cats canned food, using 30 seconds of mandatory staring in exchange for 20 minutes of automatic fusion permissions. When the third mythical cat wearing a krypton gold collar popped out of the gashapon machine, the system's cold reminder shattered the fantasy: "Unlocking the seventh combat position requires conquering 100 layers of the abyss."

The real absurd drama was staged in the resource column. The bundling design of cat food and pickaxes sharing upgrade materials forced me to make a difficult choice between strengthening combat cats or mining efficiency. The technology trees in the lab that say "increase critical hit rate" are actually a series of traps that use the dungeon key as a threat - the two free opportunities limited to each day are just enough to upgrade the attack power of the mining cat from "tickling" to "slightly tingling". When I tried to challenge the so-called boss level, the "immediately stronger" pop-up windows that popped up all over the screen formed an iron curtain, burying the boss's health bar in the ocean of recharge gift packs.

The most ingenious design traps are hidden in the equipment system. The smart module that claims to "automatically change clothes" is actually a scam that induces repetitive labor. Those epic mining picks that were born after rolling in the fusion pool for eight hours are always crushed by the next five-minute quick-made inferior product attributes. Behind the false glory of No. 54 on the leaderboard is a sweatshop composed of eight advertising cooling timers: dungeon double coupons, gashapon refresh orders, cattery expansion certificates... Each means of production has the same price tag: exchange for 120 seconds of attention. As the cats mechanically repeated the animation of gnawing on ore, I finally saw the truth of this capital game - the developers are using pixel cat claws as a cover to stuff us all into the resource crusher.
