8.Select "Next".
9.Provide a title for the video, add hashtags, and include any other details you'd like.
10.Hit "Post" to share the video on your TikTok feed.
Why Can’t I Stitch on TikTok
If you encounter difficulties when stitching videos on TikTok, there could be several underlying causes. Let's explore them in detail.
Stitch Feature Disabled: Not every TikTok video has the Stitch feature activated. When this feature is disabled, it becomes impossible to add any content to the existing video. The Stitch option is only available when the video's creator explicitly enables it.
Response Duration Too Short: For your added content or response to be successfully stitched onto the original video, it must be at least one second in length. Shorter responses won't meet the requirements for stitching.
Clip Length Exceeds Limit: You can only incorporate a maximum of five seconds from another video. Even if the context demands a longer clip, there is no way to extend this time limit for stitching purposes.
How to Disable Stitch
If you don't want to allow Stitch on your videos, you can disable it.
1.Tap “Profile”.
2.Tap the hamburger icon (consisting of three horizontal lines).
3.Tap “Settings and Privacy”.
4.Tap on “Privacy”.
5.Tap on “Stitch”.
6.Select one of the following options: “Allow with Followers”, “Allow with Followers that you follow back”, or “Only me”.
Why Make a TikTok Stitch
Sharing and a sense of community are the lifeblood of TikTok. When you stitch responses to existing videos, you not only increase the visibility of the original content but also allow others to understand your perspective on it.
Numerous TikTok trends have gained momentum precisely because users added stitches to specific kinds of videos. A prime example is the "RentFree" hashtag, which saw a surge in popularity as people engaged with related videos through the stitching feature.
