TIPS AND TRICKS

Fishing

The world has been submerged!

Let's find out what happened...

But first of all, let's learn how to fish.

Long press and release anywhere on the screen and start fishing.

Fishing will be canceled if you press Cancel fishing button.

When a fish has bit, tap quickly to catch it.

You have to tap quickly to catch it before it runs away.

When you catch a fish, you get EXP and Fishcakes and you'll start fishing again.

You can upgrade your fishing rod with Fishcake.

Now, catch one yourself.

Map and Navigation

If you want to move to another location, press map on the top of the screen.

You can catch boss fish if you move to a location with skull mark on the map.

Catch a boss fish to rank up and discover new areas.

The max level will increase based on rank.

You can check out Help from menu on the top right corner of the screen.

Now let's go on journey!

Harbors, Items, Skins

Catch a Special fish to get items.

Items from Special fish can be sold at harbors.

Sell items to get Pearls...

And using Pearls buy skins.

Purchased skin can be equipped by pressing the button on the upper right corner of the screen.

The total sum of all of the skins' abilities are applied, even if you're not wearing it.

Improve your stats by collecting a variety of skins.

Inventory

Items in inventory can be sold at any Harbor.

When you sell items, you can get Pearls or mastery points.

Press and hold to lock the items you do not wish to sell.

Locked items can be used in black marketeer or construction.

To unlock a locked item, you must long press the locked item.

Rare fish and Level

If boss is too difficult to catch, please follow location from the.

In areas marked with location, Rare fish will appear.

Sell items from Rare fish and buy various skins.

Keep in mind that fish that has lower level than you will give you less EXP.

Difficult fish

If the fishing meter is too high, a difficult fish appears.

Lower the fishing meter to catch the right level of fish.

If the boss fish is too difficult

Try catching easier fish and raising your level again!

Fishing meter

According to Fishing meter the level of fish is decided.

Fill just a little bit of Fishing meter and you will meet an easy fish...

If you fill your Fishing meter up, difficult fish will be caught.

Adjust the Fishing meter to your preference and level.

Fishing meter low

If Fishing meter is too low, you can only get a little bit of EXP and Fishcakes.

To fill up Fishing meter, first cancel fishing

and long press the screen to see your fishing meter fill up.

Combo

Combos are stacked when you catch fish with manual fishing.

Combo increases the amount of EXP and Fishcake acquisition by 5% per overlap.

But after 3 minutes all, Combo will disappear.

Mastery

Tap on Mastery to learn new mastery skills.

Learn mastery to strengthen skill or use new abilities.

Get Mastery point by catching a boss or through events.

Amber Stores and the Legend

Now when you catch fish, you can get Traces of legend.

Gather Traces of legend and you will meet Legendary fish.

Catch the Legendary fish and gather Amber stones to strengthen the Altar.

Magic Essence

When you catch a fish, you can get Magic Essence at low probability.

You can upgrade Thunderstorm with Magic Essence.

Get Legendary fish from upgraded areas and get more Amber Stones.

In the most upgraded area, use Magical essence to meet a stronger legendary fish.

Skin Upgrade

In Norway you can upgrade your skins.

You can raise up to 3 ranks and price doubles for every rank.

Every time a skin ranks up, its stat is increased.

Cradle

Now you may battle in Cradle anytime.

Check your ability through battles.

You can get great rewards when you reach a certain level.

Automatic fishing failure

You need to learn how to Auto-fish using Mastery points.

You can only get the fish already recorded in your Index by auto-fishing.

You have to have higher mastery skills to catch fish with higher level.

Harpoon

Now you can use a Harpoon.

Your harpoon will fight with you automatically when fishing.

You can upgrade it using Fishcake.

Cannon

You can now use Cannon!

Cannon may be slow but afflicts a powerful damage.

Use Fishcakes to make it stronger.

Machine Gun

Machine Gun with fast attack speed has been added.

You can upgrade Machine guns to make it more powerful.

Magic Stone

Magic stones are slow but powerful.

So it's a bit weak against Normal fish

but against Rare or Boss fish it is very powerful.

Skill, Mana, Potion

On the skill menu First skill has been added.

This skill will speed up the fish-catching.

Especially works great if you have Auto-fishing on.

When there is not enough Mana, try using potion

Potion can be bought in the shop.

The more you use the potion, but better the effect.

Second skill

Second skill speeds up navigation for a while.

Using the skill you can travel around the world quickly.

Third skill

The third skill accelerates the world's time for a bit.

This skill accelerates various types of generation time.

Auto skill casting

Learn Auto Skill Casting using mastery points

to activate the function in the skills menu.

Skill with Auto Skill Casting enabled

will use skills when mana is full

or time remaining is over.

Skill Booster

Learn Skill Booster using mastery points

to activate the function in the skills menu.

Skill with Skill Booster enabled

will run out twice as fast as usual

but the effect of the skill is increased by 50%.

Also, depending on the mastery level, the effect is increased by 5%.

Detector

Now you can use the detector!

Activate the detector to display item locations on the map.

You can fish items up if the light flickers within the acquisition range.

If you see Navigation Speed increase skill, acquisition range and detector range increase simultaneously.

Activate Auto lock button in the inventory to automatically lock junk.

Upgrade farms and special areas with your acquired junk.

Teleportation

You can now use Teleportation.

Tap Teleportation button from map to move immediately to wherever you want.

The longer the distance the more Mana you will use, so please use with caution!

Dimensional Stone Upgrade

Dimensional Stone can be found by exploring the parallel worlds and raising the rank.

You can upgrade your equipment using Dimensional Stones from the parallel world.

Dimensional Stone upgrade is more effective with higher level of equipments.

Parallel World

In the parallel world, raise your parallel world stats

Navigate around the world, and get Dimensional Stones.

Also you can find journals of Siamese cats that went missing from the lab

And notes on the story of parallel world.

Clearing the parallel world opens the next parallel world.

The higher the level, the difficulty amber stones acquisition will increase.

Special areas such as Alters, farms, and alchemy

Can be used the same as the existing world.

You can always go back to the original world at any time via the icon on the right.

FAQS

What is that line in my fishing meter?

Look at the fishing meter issue first then continue: you scale the fishing level based on how filled the blue in the circle. The blue filled up is depend how long you hold before release to start the fishing. There are min/max fishing level and the midpoint is min+max /2. The min/max level of fishing is based on your rank. You rank up by defeating the island on your map with a skull and crossbones.

I bought some item but they ads still play when I try to get the booster!

Making a purchase disables random ads that pop up when you do certain things like selling items at harbors, which are more annoying since you don't get any benefit.

What exactly is neglect mode?

If you press neglect mode twice, UI elements should disappear. It is useful for a long afk-fishing session to save battery life (just a little bit).

Should I rank up or focus on fishcakes?

There are two reason to rank up: unlock more feature and leveling up constantly. I recommend to use fishcake altar for fishcakes.

Do the "rare fish rate" skin effect shorten the time for rare fish to spawn or just the chance to spawn bossfish?

it increases both the rate rare fish are fished up (30%) and rate at which a boss is spawned(10%). it is multiplied buy those base values. e.g. 50% rare fish rate gives you 45% fishing up rare and 15% boss instead of rare.

How does the "Finest Fishing Reel" artifact work? Is it 1% to the total bonus? Is it an additive 1% to each combo?

1% of 5% per combo. so if 10 combo will be extra 1% of 50% = 50.5% total

What's the best way to get each resources?

The best way to get resources is to fish constantly. Use fishing speed skill and stack it for long lasting gains plus afk fish.

What should I spend my mastery points on first?

For masteries I would suggest all autos: max Auto fish, auto voyage level 4. Put a few levels on Combo, since that will give you a pretty solid boost with fishcakes and exp per level. Fishing meter holder level 2 makes it so you auto start fishing when you leave a port which is imperative if you have auto voyage on with auto sell to bring in the big pearl hulls when you're afk. I would also suggest fishing speed and navigation skills. Navi only if you junk fish

Which altars should I focus on first?

Long story short: you can do what ever you want with your altars. The best alters would be the attack alters which are heavy blow, sharpness, and will, followed by abundance and then growth.

After Rank 35: Best altar would be Will. I recommend to level it up to 150+. 2nd best would be the crits. I leave it at level 150.

How do critical hits work?

Critical hits apply on all weapons and tap. Critical hit rate determines if the damage is critical or not and critical hit damage modifies the damage when hit is critical. The numbers appear yellow during battle.

Is there any fish location guide?

Common fish are are not area specific and are determined by day and night ingame which roughly switches every 5-10 minutes.

Boss and rare fish always stay at the same location. You can't fish the area's rare fish until you fish the boss fish. But there is not list of area and fish location for boss and rares that I know of. At least not in English.

Do you gain anything by leveling? Any stats?

base damage and altar exponent. look at formulas thread in side bar.

Will auto skill casting consume my potions if my mana is low?

No, it will wait until you have enough mana to cast again. Side note, it will also recast if your mana becomes 100+, so either way it doesn't waste any resources.

Farm Buildings - list of required items.

witFor reasons I cannot possibly fathom, I've started recording the junk required to level up the various structures at your farm. Hopefully some of you can benefit from this strange compulsion.

HOW TO READ THIS CHART: The "level" column is the structure's CURRENT LEVEL, not the level you're trying to reach. Hopefully the names of materials are mostly self-explanatory, with the exception of "STICK(!)". You know those worthless drops you get from some of the low-level rare fish, that sell for 2 pearls? Yeah, you actually use those for some upgrades. It's in all caps with a "(!)" to avoid possible mix-ups with "wood". Other rare fish drops will also be marked with a (!).

This game is very cute I love the style of the Characters and also the fish some of them are really funny like the one with the legs two things that I think you should consider changing is one their is this little glitch whare when I want to go somewhere on the map and I click whare I want to go is it sends me all the way to the end of the map it is really annoying and Evan if I close out of the app it still does it sometimes it will stop and two it takes me so long to get to the boss battles 42 people found this review helpful

I played this back when it first launched and I'm so happy to still see it here! Definitely a simple idle fishing adventure that's great for passing time or a quick study break - you'll pick up the controls in no time. Customization is great but I think my only complaint is lack of skin color options & dead social channels.

Hello! Please try out this game, it's awesome and works both offline and online and I am LOVING it! The only thing keeping it from 5-star for me is some of the explainations for how some stuff in-game works is too short and I usually don't understand even with the help menu. BUT this game is near-perfect and is my favourite offline experience right now, alongside Picture Cross and Melon Maker! Also taking this chance to say Merge Gardens WAS great too until they removed the offline feature- >:(

The game is awsome I love how it blends elements of RPGs and fishing simulators. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world that has been flooded, leaving the player stranded on a raft. Players tap on the screen to catch different types of fish, which can then be upgraded equipment, crafts, and complete quests, which makes this very addictive.

This is such an amazing game. I've been playing for the past 1 and a half and I never want to stop! The characters are adorable, and it's very simple. The quests provide fun challenges, and it never becomes boring. As well as this, there aren't any obnoxious advertisments that affect gameplay, which is a plus. Glad I downloaded!

Game is great but glitched out. My rating was 5 stars, and hopefully, this problem can be remedied. So the first task is catch mackerel, I'm level 17 after following the tasks, but there's one task that says mackerel repeat? And I just can't find this fish anywhere after the first catch. so this task won't GO AWAY, it won't allow me to complete it 😭 which is frustrating because I was really enjoying the game, but I can't get over the uncompleted task taking up space on the screen.

The game is very cute and addictive. I agree with other reviews that it's tough sometimes to understand how to use things or how to level up certain stuff, but the help menu definitely tries its best. I also have an issue where I bought a pearl package and that's supposed to make it so I no longer have ads. From day to day it's been very hit and miss on whether I have to watch the ads or not, and the experience is much better for me if I don't have to watch the ads.

Probably one of the best casual games I've played runs nicely in the background while I do things throughout the day and the art style is very cute. Only 2 problems. The games events are always on a constant repeat and theres never any new ones. And my second problem is that the game takes forever to complete. I've been playing on and off for years now and still have not made it to the end.

The game is cute and beautiful. It's really calming too! There hardly adds. It's a game that pick up where you left off and still remember all of the controls even if you haven't played the game in years. One of my favorite things about the game is that is each area has landmarks/whatever the area it's know. I also have a suggestion for the game. A way to get back lost date, if something happen to your phone and you want to continue where you left off but no redo everything.
