Rules

This game features straightforward yet engaging rules. Each round consists of a grid filled with letters, where players create words by connecting adjacent tiles. You can form words in any direction, including diagonally. The game also introduces unique challenges, such as two- and three-letter tiles, themed words, and speed rounds, keeping gameplay exciting and varied. Remember, the faster you find words, the better your score, so stay sharp and think quickly!

Scoring Pattern

Scoring in this game is designed to reward both speed and creativity. Players earn points based on the length of the words they discover, with longer words yielding more points. The game also tracks your performance, including your best word found, total score, and the number of first-place finishes. Leader boards provide an overview of daily, hourly, and overall standings, allowing you to gauge your progress against others. Achieving a high score not only earns you recognition but also enhances your gaming experience as you climb the ranks.

Single Player:

Take a break and unwind with a calming word game all to yourself. With hundreds of non-timed puzzles and new daily challenges, the fun never stops! Progress through levels on the adventure map one at a time, complete all the daily challenges within a month to earn badges, or dive straight into your favorite difficulty mode with Quick Play. Some of our top players have even reached level 300 – how far will you go?

Multiplayer:

Why settle for playing against just one person when you can compete against thousands simultaneously? Wordament® offers a real-time continuous word tournament where players vie on the same board all together. Rounds present various challenges like two- and three-letter tiles, themed words, speed rounds, and more. You can excel in different ways: by finding the most words, achieving the highest score, discovering the longest words, outperforming your Frenemies, or surpassing your personal best. The path to victory is yours to choose.

Wordament keeps tabs on your advancement by storing detailed statistics about your gameplay, including your best word found, total score, best word count, first-place finishes, and more. Leaderboards showcase the top performers for the day, hour, and overall. Climb the ranks, unlock achievements, and earn bragging rights as you progress. Will you be the next champion?

How to win?

Winning in this game is not just about luck; it’s about strategy, skill, and a keen eye for words. Players compete on a shared board in real-time, striving to find the most words possible within the given time frame. You can choose to focus on different victory conditions: find the longest words, achieve the highest score, or simply outplay your friends. The beauty of this game lies in its flexibility; your path to victory can vary from one game to the next, allowing for a fresh experience every time you play.

I was able to complete many adventure mode maps, but then my progress got wiped out. It happened again for the second time and logging out and back in didn't bring it back either. If Microsoft doesn't fix this recurring issue, I'm done with this app. I'll just delete it and be done with the problem.

This game won't work if you don't have the Google Play Store activated. It's important to note that this isn't the same as Google Play Services, which is needed to run the apps. This game is the only one affected by this issue. If you disable the Play Store, it will just keep showing "Loading" forever and won't do anything else! As for the gameplay, what many others have mentioned about the ads is true. The Challenge Mode can be really unfair; you get penalized for mistakes in your strokes. Since this is a touch screen game, that definitely needs to be fixed.

So, there's this cool word game. You gotta complete three tasks at each level. Like, maybe find three words that end in "Y" or sort out eight four-letter words. It's not too serious; you won't get in trouble for typos. I enjoy coming up with my extra challenges, like trying to score the most points with my words. The ads don't bother me much, they're just there. Overall, it's a fun way to pass the time. It would be awesome if they had a weekly competition to keep things interesting and give players a reason to keep playing.

This word game is one of the best, if not THE best! Even though I'm old and slow, I'm very happy with it. I enjoy playing the multiplayer mode, but I freeze when there's a time limit. I especially like the untimed puzzles. I mostly play on medium difficulty, but I'm starting to enjoy the more challenging ones too. Thanks, game developers!

Oh man, I really love playing the game on my phone after I exhausted the computer version! However, those annoying ads are seriously annoying. A lot of them don't seem to fit the mobile screen properly and get stuck without a way to close them, which forces me to close the app and start over, crossing my fingers that the next ad will work right (sometimes it takes 2-3 tries). I was thinking about giving the game 2 stars, but I found out they won't let you post a review with less than 3 stars.

I was looking for a game to play in my free time that wasn't full of annoying ads. When I saw my partner playing Wordament on Windows, I decided to check if there was an Android version available. To my delight, I discovered that there was a Microsoft-branded version of the game. While there are some ads, they don't pop up too often or get in the way like most Android games. The option to remove ads for a small fee is quite reasonable as well. Big thanks to Microsoft for setting a good example of how it should be done!

I really like this game. I wish the puzzles would get more challenging as you go from one level to the next. It's a bit disappointing when you finish a level and start the next one with a super easy puzzle. It feels like going back to the basics every time I complete a level.

I love this app! It's one of my absolute favorites. I've had it on all my phones, and even on a tablet once. It's so calming to play, especially when I'm watching TV. There's no pressure with time limits either, which makes it even more enjoyable. Thank you for making such a great game. With gratitude, Teresa DeClue

I've been playing this game for over 5 years, starting from my old Nokia phone back in the Windows days. It was the only app I took with me when I switched to Android. This game has been my favorite for a long time, and I've never deleted it. I almost felt like crying when I opened it tonight to play. I'm okay with updates, but what happened? The game is completely different now. The graphics look cheap and slow. And where did all my scores and progress from the past 5 years go? Even if I tried to give this new single player version a chance, why am I placed in some beginner "level 1" space? I know how this game works. This doesn't feel like Wordament at all. If the developers wanted to earn money, they could have just added a few ads during breaks. We might have complained, but still purchased the ad-free option. Now, this mess isn't even worth keeping on my phones. Thanks for ruining something good, Microsoft.

The app's old design was really good. The game worked well and it was easy to see everything clearly. But the new layout is just awful. There are so many bright colors and flashy animations that make it really hard to focus on the game and see which words you've already chosen. Plus, all those extra things happening on the screen make it slow to respond when you're trying to play quickly. Even switching to the 'classic' theme doesn't fix the problems. Sadly, my love for this game has been broken by the changes.
